La trattoria si trova nelle vicinanze di Corso Regina Margherita, in una posizione favorevolissima per raggiungere tutte le principali attrazioni della splendida Torino.
Dell'antipasto abbiamo assaggiato delle buone tome, servite con salsa verde e miele.
Eccezionali i primi, agnolotti al ragù e plin burro e salvia. Superlativo il brasato al Barolo, carne tenerissima e saporita. Molto buono anche il bunet, dolce tipico piemontese.
Ottimo il Dolcetto sfuso e la grappa di Moscato ed invecchiata.
Personale in sala gentilissimo e sempre pronto a suggerimenti ed informazioni sui piatti presenti nel menù.
Conto nella norma.

Good Piedmontese trattoria, we had some mixed starters, Russian salad, fassone steak, veal with tuna sauce, green anchovies (with garlic) and carpione steaks (in vinegar for non-Piedmontese).
Then I tasted agnolotti with roast sauce and meatballs (for those who follow me, they know that they are a must for me)
Desserts, an EXCELLENT bunet, just as it should be, the classic traditional recipe. The stuffed peaches were also good, too bad they were tiny.
The only point I would make... the portions are really small (which also has advantages in terms of figure :)

Buona trattoria piemontese, ci siamo presi un po' di antipasti misti, insalata russa, battuta di fassone, vitello tonnato, acciughe al verde (con aglio) e bistecche in carpione (sotto aceto per i non piemontesi).
Poi ho assaggiato agnolotti al sugo d'arrosto e polpette (per chi mi segue sa che sono un must per me)
Dolci, un OTTIMO bunet, proprio come deve essere, la classica ricetta tradizionale. Buone anche le pesche ripiene, peccato fossero minuscole.
Unico appunto che farei ... le porzioni, proprio piccole (il che ha anche dei vantaggi in termini di linea :)

A place where you can feel at home, simple but refined food, a timeless classic restaurant, young staff. I have many good memories of evenings spent at the Piola, it's always a pleasure to go back, book as the weekend is always full!

For the prices, quantity of portions and dishes that have little to do with the Piedmontese tradition such as pasta with stracciatella, in my opinion it cannot be defined as a piola, the cuisine however is good

Place with good Piedmontese cuisine although not too refined, in a central position and therefore very crowded with tourists. Young and helpful staff who, even in the organizational confusion, accommodated us outside, giving us a pleasant evening.

I tried this piola during a family lunch.
After trying several in the area, I arrive here full and hungry, sure of making a good impression in front of the other diners.
Excellent starters, super first courses but on the second courses we fell very low.
A piece of Fassona without seasoning, taken and plated without anything to enhance its flavor and the braised meat in Barbera wine where I only saw the wine written on the menu, resulting in it being bland and flavourless.
It could be due to the inexperience of those who work in the kitchen or because they had an unlucky day, I think there are many piole in the area who manage to do better.
Final bill:
- 1 platter for 2 + 1 veal with tuna sauce + 1 Russian salad (4 starters in total);
- 1 taglionini with black truffle + 1 stuffed shells + 1 agnolotti (3 first courses in total);
- 1 piece of fassona and 1 braised meat in Barbera;
- 1 water and 1/2 liter of wine;
- 3 coffees
TOTAL: 119 euros, overpriced for a Piola.
