Having returned to this place on different evenings after two years, I've found it to have improved. The beautiful setting in an ancient village pays off, the place is run by young people, clean, quiet, with fast service, good-quality food, and a good wine list. Good value for money.

A positive experience at Piola del Borgo. My wife and I dined there, trying their trio of antipasti, a charcuterie board, and a focaccia, all top-notch. The drinks we ordered—one non-alcoholic and one with prosecco and elderflower—were perfect. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff very helpful. A great place to return to.

A true pleasure every time we find ourselves dining in this magical place, in the heart of this enchanting village! The food and drink are truly excellent, and the owner is very kind and helpful! We found ourselves at this restaurant on a July evening. The place is very attractive: it's welcoming, well-decorated, and has a lovely outdoor space that can accommodate a good number of people. We had a trio of appetizers and a first course, accompanied by a very good bottle of white wine. The value for money was excellent, and we ate really well. The staff was friendly and attentive to their needs. They even offered us coffee, a gesture that was truly appreciated. Highly recommended.

La Bottega del Grignolino

09/11/2025: In the center of town, inside the castle walls, I believe, there's this beautiful restaurant spread over several floors. It offers mainly traditional Piedmontese cuisine, with a limited selection, but I fully agree with their approach to quality. Everything tastes good, nothing to complain about. I must compliment the excellent rabbit in Arneis, a meat that requires considerable culinary skill. It's truly a wonderful dish, and you can tell the kitchen is run by experienced, elderly women. If I ever get the chance, I'd definitely stop by again. The price is average for the location. Perhaps we forget, but here we are in one of the most enchanting places in the world.
22/09/2025: On the evening of Sunday, September 20th, I needed dinner, and quickly. Excellent warm appetizers (pepper flan, in bagna cauda, ​​exceptional). Delicious peaches with amaretto. Excellent Grignolino. Friendly staff. Very welcoming and clean place. 5/5
