We went to Piola already in the 1960s, when it was called "Duranti", time has passed, but the pizza is still the same: excellent!!!!!!

Rather than talking about pizza, it would be better to understand them as small, tall pizzas with the possibility of garnishing them as desired. Low prices. Informal place, mostly takeaway but with 4-5 small tables inside.

What beautiful winter walks with hot pizza in our hands while we look at the shops. I live a bit in the Milanese hinterland and a bit in Reggio when I'm smart working and when I arrive the tour from Piola is a must, it's practically the Luini in Milan ahahahah

A point of reference for all people from Reggio Emilia and beyond: delicious pan pizzas. Very fast service. There are two flavors available: margherita and anchovies. Only note, update the offer, perhaps adding the marinara flavour, so that they can have an option available for vegans and those intolerant to lactose.

Pizza a portafoglio ineguagliabile. Nel cuore del centro vive questa pizzeria da asporto con qualche tavolino che offre una duplice alternativa di pizzetta al tegamino gustosa.

La Piola is an institution in Reggio Emilia, pan pizzas with only 2 flavors but you won't miss other options, eat them folded in half while walking or take them home to reheat, they're delicious! Very fast and very courteous service, good.

03/08/2024: Very good restaurant. Food really tasted very good. Large portions, so good value for money. Staff very friendly.

However, the possibility of booking and the organization of multiple shifts guarantee good accessibility. The menu, also dotted with 'historic' dishes, is periodically expanded with imaginative proposals that are worth trying.
