We went to Alla Piemontese on a Wednesday evening, for a dinner with friends. They reserved the room for us: super welcoming and with attention to every detail. Mr. Mauro welcomed us in an excellent way, explaining all the dishes with great precision and passion. The highly trained chef Francesco demonstrated extraordinary expertise in the kitchen. I've been to the Piemontese a couple of times: the environment is dark, welcoming, intimate and comfortable. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and immediately puts you at ease. We were undecided on what to drink and they were able to immediately advise us on an excellent choice, much appreciated by everyone during the evening. As a first course I had some stuffed tagliatelle: excellent dish, no too particular flavour, suitable for everyone. The second course (the one in the video) was a fillet steak, very good. The breading came off the meat easily when cut; I would have preferred a slightly softer meat, but it was still very much appreciated. For dessert I took a chocolate mousse with some red fruit to decorate: simple flavour, pleasant consistency, very good. I spent an excellent evening with friends, in a beautiful place, pampered by the staff and excellent dishes. I will definitely return when the menu changes.
