Excellent pre or post ferry stop at the villa! No compromises, quality food at very honest prices! Just under €25 each to eat well in a place with no frills but real substance. Excellent service. Super recommended. Saved for future trips 🙃

What can I say? Truly excellent experience. Very friendly and helpful staff, very quick service and excellent quality of meat. The mixed grill and the Florentine steak are highly recommended (excellent cutting and cooking). We will definitely return.

The products used are excellent, fresh and high quality and each dish reflects the true essence of Calabrian cuisine. From the cured meats to the cheeses, through to the meat main courses, everything was simply delicious. The quality-price ratio is excellent, making this restaurant a perfect choice for those who want to enjoy authentic dishes without spending a fortune. Ho passato 12 giorni a Villa San Giovanni per dei corsi, ho girato vari locali (risto-pub) quel poco che offre il paese, prezzi alti e quantità di cibo molto discutibile, poi finalmente ho trovato la piccola taverna, locale piccolo accogliente e tranquillo, ho mangiato veramente bene cibo ottimo, menu a base di carne, rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo, porzioni generose e sazianti oltre che buone, cameriere gentile e cordiale, ho assaggiato in questi giorni diversi piatti tra cui la loro tagliata di manzo, tagliata di pollo, polpette miste e max hamburger, sono uscito dal locale ogni sera contento, soddisfatto e sopratutto sazio, se ritornerò in questo paese saprò dove andare a colpo sicuro! Meno male che qualcuno mantiene ancora i valori del cibo e i prezzi ONESTI E VERI , grazie di tutto
