A haven of rest for body and soul, the owner is disarmingly kind and helpful; eating here is like visiting my mother after being away for too long. Typical traditional Taranto food, authentic and flavorful. Unbeatable prices. Always quiet and never chaotic, the perfect place for a moment of refreshment after a day at work.

A little corner of the city deeply rooted in Taranto's culinary tradition, where you can eat beautifully and, if you so choose, observe the world and human nature from a different perspective. The owner, Mrs. Maddalena, her staff, and all her guests will be part of a Zen microcosm where fellowship and authentic communication still seem within human reach. When I left the restaurant, it was as if I had just closed a good book.

What a lovely place to eat! If you are passing by, stop here and have a real Italian meal! There is no sign outside…!

A restaurant that may not seem like it, but where you can eat well and cheaply. A neighbor told us about it, whom we asked, and the truth is that it was a good choice. There are few tables and it seems that you have to book. We were lucky and were able to sit down. The operation is simple. You go to the counter and you can choose from what is there. I find that it is a super reperibile experience, surrounded by people from the neighborhood and no other tourists. We were very lucky.
