La Piccola Enoteca In Montecarlo

Beautiful picturesque landscape of Tuscany when dining on the terrazzo. Very reasonably priced. We ordered pasta Pici Cacio & Pepe, antipasti, Bottle of wine, bistecca alla Fiorentina, ( must try )roasted potatoes & spinach- then espresso; quaint town of Montecarlo. Food was delicious service was 🔝. Just a short drive from Lucca.

Nach Montecarlo hat uns uns oft gezogen und von den 3 Restaurants war das die absolute Nummer 1. Das Feeling in der Gasse ist bei allen gleich, doch hier war es wie im Dorf. Geschnatter überall und ein Service, der sich zeigen kann. Und dann kam das Steak 🥰. Auf die Minute und wirklich lecker. Bei uns wehte auch noch eine laue Brise. Lasst euch von dieser in diesen Ort wehen und hier Halt zu machen ist garantiert nicht falsch. 💪

Perfect wine advice, very good value for money.

In a small and fantastic medieval village, a fantastic traditional place with excellent cuisine and atmosphere Super delicious and abundant aperitif dinner platters. Friendly and professional staff

I tried the aperitif with friends, local wine both by the glass and in the bottle. The costs for the wine are more than fair if you are more than 4 people I recommend the bottle instead of glasses, the only flaw is the platters of cold cuts and cheeses, we asked for the platter for 5 people and we had to divide slices of cheese and cold cuts, given that on the platter there were 2 slices of cheese and a few cold cuts, premise we had asked for a platter for 5 people not for two. For the rest I recommend it, in the historic center of Monte Carlo.

Magical evening! We arrived a little before dinner time. The kitchen was not yet open and the owner offered us an aperitif and gave us some snacks while we waited. The food was excellent and the service attentive. Lots of atmosphere and it's a lovely place. Definitely worth visiting if you are in the region!

Characteristic place, welcoming staff and fast and precise service

I was very fortunate to stumble in this quaint town in Tuscany. I stopped in at a local restaurant and was very pleased with my meal. The waitress was very kind to suggest local specialties and a wine pairing to go with my meal. After my meal was prepared and sent out to me, the chef came out to greet me and make sure that I was happy with my food. Overall a wonderful restaurant!

Truly an excellent and authentic Tuscan tavern, with friendly, competent and highly efficient staff: a very complete choice of local wines and a menu to try everything. I was able to appreciate the surprising black cabbage farinata: Ligurians don't expect "our" farinata (aka cecina), but a wonderful and appetizing soup! The peposo is top notch, but also the egg with tomato (not on the menu) and the pici with various condiments are worth trying. The glass here is not the usual miserable tasting that many other pompous restaurants serve you, so here you really appreciate the wine! In short, the Piccola Enoteca di Montecarlo is actually a truly great Tuscan osteria, one of the best I have been able to try. Congratulations to the chef and the owner: you will see me again soon!
