I ate here with friends (by reservation 📞 and with a previously agreed-upon "group" menu). Piccola Bottiglieria presents itself as an "old-fashioned" wine bar, but completely renovated with taste and simplicity. The atmosphere is very intimate and gives the feeling of being in a classic trattoria of yesteryear, especially considering the location. The service was certainly excellent (especially considering that we showed up in such large numbers and well after 11:00 PM 🕚), thanks to the courteous and professional staff. I would make a few comments regarding the dishes; the pasta 🍝 (with wild boar ragù 🐗) was perhaps a little overcooked, and the minced meat itself had several oversized pieces. The bruschetta (served as a second course) was a little burnt on the outside. I repeat: I understand it may not be easy to prepare meals for twenty people at eleven o'clock at night, but I think there is room for improvement in this regard. I also read that the restaurant (run by young people) recently opened, so there is certainly room for improvement. I'd also add that customer service and goodwill are abundant (the owner 🧔🏻 was extremely kind and didn't flinch even though we were there until very late). The wines are very good 🍷 (obviously the house's highlight). The service is also excellent 🚾 🚽🧻. I intend to return later and try other dishes as well. If you're looking for a place to enjoy the freshest fish, cooked simply but with great attention to flavor, this restaurant is a real find! Every dish smells of the sea. Everything is prepared with quality ingredients and served with care. The service is impeccable: the staff is friendly and attentive to every need. The atmosphere is familiar and welcoming. It's the classic place where you eat well, chat peacefully, and are happy to return, whether as a couple, with friends, or with family. In short: fresh fish, excellent service, and a genuine and relaxing atmosphere. P.S. Highly recommended: Catalana, generous portions.
