I’d give them 6 stars if I could! Loved locals were hanging out enjoying themselves when we walked up and everyone said Ciao, Buonasera. Ultimate Italian hospitality. Smiles for miles, explained the menu and any Italian word I didn’t know, and recommended perfect food selections. The family is so kind and you can taste the love in every bite! My partner and I come from a total foodie town, our close friend is a Michelin star chef, and we’ve eaten around. This place is authentico Toscano! Grazie Mille, Dio vi benedico tutti!

We spontaneously stopped by for lunch today. We chose some dishes ourselves and also had some recommendations. Overall, the food was delicious, and the lady who served us was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a wonderful charm and is rustically decorated, making it very cozy. We felt very comfortable and will be back at least once more while we're here in Florence. A 12 out of 10 😍

A hidden gem if you are in Firenze. When a handwritten menu comes on the table you know it is going to be good. The food was delicious, the service was great. Very kind and warm people working here. We ordered some bruschetta and the lovely lady working today decided the main courses and dessert. Everything was so good. Thank you for a really good experience in Firenze.

The son is in the kitchen, crafting each dish under the proud and watchful eye of Mamma, who also helps you order with a mix of confidence, charm, and genuine care. Their daughter delivers each plate with elegance, grace, and a sweetness that makes you feel like part of the family. From the very first bite—house-made bread and bruschetta, lovingly selected for us by Mamma—we knew we were in good hands. We didn’t even fully know what we ordered because we trusted her completely, and she did not steer us wrong. The meatballs with green sauce were out of this world, and the homemade pasta was unforgettable. Despite a food allergy in our group, we felt completely safe. Mamma was attentive, understanding, and reassuring. That level of care is rare—and deeply appreciated. The space is cozy, full of locals who clearly come not just to eat, but to be. To sit, sip great wine, and soak in the joy of being well-fed in a place where food is made with heart. We ate so much that we didn’t even have room for dessert (a tragedy we intend to correct on our return visit). This was, without a doubt, the best dinner and the best experience we’ve had in Italy—and we’ll be talking about it for years. If you want to dine like you’re at your Italian friend’s house—where the food is extraordinary, the wine flows, and every moment feels personal—La Piccola Botte is your place. Don’t miss it.

We accidentally found this wonderful place and ordered vegetable bruschetta and lampredotto as a starter. Everything was excellent, even the wine served to us. Congratulations to the managers indeed

Uno dei peposi più buoni di Firenze. Ottimi i crostini e il tagliere, tortelli al sugo fenomenali, fanno una salsa verde ottima senza acciughe e uova, adatta per chi è vegetariano. Il ristorante è molto carino ed accogliente e i proprietari gentilissimi. Torneremo di sicuro quanto prima.

Un luogo dove si respira e si assapora tutta la tradizione culinaria fiorentina. Siamo andati con la nostra famiglia e non appena entrati abbiamo avuto modo di apprezzare il clima accogliente e familiare. Tutti i piatti assaggiati - dai crostini, passando per i primi (pasta e fagioli, pasta e ceci, ribollita, tortellli del Mugello con sugo di manzo) e i secondi (francesina e peposo) per concludere con i dolci - ci hanno regalato un piacere. Perfino i nostri bambini, complessivamente più complicati da soddisfare, hanno apprezzato una cucina genuina e gustosa. Tante possibilità di scelta anche per vegetariani e vegani. In conclusione, consigliassimo anche per la cortesia dei gestori.
