Terrific restaurant, friendly staff and delicious food. The menu is handwritten and the interior very rustic. Food was extremely tasty but limited options for vegetarians but the ravioli was delicious. They specialise in tripe but plenty of other options.

The best food in Florence 😍😍 I loved the pastas and the unmistakable flavor of the ciabatta!
I'll be back again and I give it a 10/10 for everyone's service, especially Alecio, who kindly welcomed us like tourists. Our recommended order: Tortelli di patate al ragú and Ravioli burro e sage. We ordered both and loved them!

This place gave me the vibe that I was at somebody’s home. Even the food was very homemade style and it was delicious. The host was very helpful, translated the menu and made recommendations.

I went with friends and we had a great time. It's a very nice place, the food is excellent, and the owners are friendly and approachable.
The only downside is that the place is small, so at certain times it's probably best to call.

A super cozy little restaurant. The owner is incredibly friendly and passionate about what she does. She went above and beyond to explain the handwritten Italian menu to us in English. The food was also delicious!

Last night my husband and I had dinner at La Piccola Botte... a typical Florentine trattoria... what we were looking for was authentic, family-style hospitality. We found it both in the owners and in the charm of the place, but above all in the food... cooked with expertise and excellent ingredients.
From the Peposo to the tripe and various crostini... and the inevitable Tuscan DOC red wine.
We still have to try the lampredotto, so we'll be back before we leave.

For a quick aperitif, we wandered to a street corner a little outside the city center, with the romantic naiveté of those hoping to stumble upon a secret Florentine gem.
The menu speaks Florentine: panini, crostini, and crostoni in every possible way.
And yet... that spark was missing. Perhaps a slightly tired day in the kitchen, perhaps expectations were too high, but neither the peposo nor the crostini raised our right eyebrows, an unmistakable sign of culinary enthusiasm.
