I've been there several times, all in all the food is good and the price is honest. However, I didn't like the fact that the lady at the checkout never showed me a receipt where I could see the count of what I consumed, but only the final sum which was always a multiple of 5 or 10 (35 , 40, 50). Places like that no longer exist, they are the ones where you are not at home but you feel at home. If you are reading this review and have not yet booked, you do not deserve the pleasure of sharing a table with the chef at Piccola Amatrice.

Little place but surprisingly amazing!! Very friendly staff, pasta was even better than the famous Osteria da Fortunata! 10/10!

Siamo capitati per caso in zona e ci siamo fermati in questa intima e semplice trattoria. Si è trascorsa una serata piacevole a chiacchierare con i titolari ed altri clienti tutti conoscenti e mangiato buoni piatti della della tradizione romana accompagnati da un buon vino Abbruzzese.....il tutto ad un prezzo irrisorio....che volere di più??!!

Amazing place! For two days in a row we went there for dinner and everything we ordered was amazing. Nice atmosphere, like in typical italiant restaurant, the owner makes you feel like you were eating in home. I have been on Italy many times, spent several months in Milan, Tuscany and Rome, but i've never seen a place like this.If only i will return to Rome, i'll definitely come back here for this excellent carbonara.

Small and very welcoming place, good pizza and superlative grill. Family-run restaurant where there is no shortage of chatting with the owner and his children, who are friendly and nice.
