..I may be biased because a long-time friendship binds me..but I have been to restaurants, I had a restaurant in the Veronelli guides..I assure you that both the location and the tables near the fireplace can be booked with a minimum of 15 days' stay. advance in winter..impeccable service. Fiorentine wood oven at the top..Erika the fantastic owner..beautiful cellar..well you just have to try it, you won't be disappointed..certainly one of the best restaurants in Livorno..and who knows..full speed ahead Eri..

What can I say, I haven't paid yet and I'm already reviewing. Exceptional environment, food and courtesy at the highest levels. I will definitely come back!!!

The first time in Piccionaia.. excellent welcome, attentive and fast service, good and plentiful food.. the only flaw, for a sweet tooth like me, about desserts.. too sweet but with little flavour.. but frankly the friendliness and courtesy of the staff got the better of the desserts! Price slightly higher than I knew but I have to say that instead of the house wine we got a bottle of Bolgheri.. so it fits.. I hope to go back soon.. the wild boar was fabulous!

Siamo stati per il pranzo di Natale, locale pienissimo menù fisso a 60 € antipasto di salumi toscani; un primo di ravioli con ripieno di capriolo abbastanza insignificanti e una lasagna con patate al ragù di coniglio, ma assolutamente anonima per secondo spezzatino di anatra con purè e poi costine di maiale in salsa al barbecue La carne era piuttosto dura e non ben cotta forse a causa della grande quantità di persone presenti mentre lo spezzatino di anatra era discreto. Besser è tutto anonimo, liquore della casa, non valutabile soliti amari e caffè. Una menzione a parte spetta alle inservienti ed alle cameriere che servivano ai tavoli disponibili, simpaticissime e molto efficienti… prezzo decisamente molto caro per il cibo offerto sia come qualità che come quantità

Very kind and friendly staff, they make you feel at home and for those who are away from home it is a great added value. Very good food (comparable to restaurants in a very different price range) and a lot of flexibility (half portion, extra large portion), you don't have to pay a cover charge. Really at the top!

Era da molto tempo che volevo scrivere questa recensione, mi scuso con Erika e Salvatore per questa mia mancanza.Ci sono venuto con la mia famiglia per festeggiare il compleanno di mio fratello Toto,ci siamo trovati molto bene,sia per l'accoglienza e per quello che abbiamo deliziato. Antipasti, primi piatti e secondi una prelibatezza per non parlare della carbonara spettacolare,e per finire la grigliata fatta dal grande maestro Salvatore.
