An authentic Italian restaurant with fantastic prices; the most expensive pizza is €10. Very friendly staff and fast service. 10/10 overall.

Always a guarantee for us in the area, a restaurant where we feel at home but... The food is better than at home...everything is always perfect!

We walked in as some of the very first customers of the evening. Ordered a beer, a glass of wine, and a pizza — nothing spectacular, just a relaxed start. The beer glass, however, was impressively cloudy. Not the charming craft-beer kind of cloudy, but the “I can’t see through this because of limescale” kind. These things happen. Luckily, the replacement glass was perfectly clean. Shortly after, we were asked to move tables. We were literally among the first guests, but sure — no problem. New table, order placed, all good. And then… the doors opened. A group of about 30 to 40 screaming children entered. I’ve experienced quieter indoor playgrounds. It would have been nice to get a on it. To end on a fair note: the pizza was perfectly fine, and so were the wine and the beer (in its second glass). Just be aware that depending on timing, dinner may come with surround-sound chaos included.

La Piazzetta is a must-visit in Trastevere for those looking for excellent Roman cuisine or a delicious pizza!! Alessia and Ylenia are always very kind, the place is spacious and comfortable, and is located in a quiet little square in the heart of the neighborhood. Ever since I was little, I've been coming back again and again! 🍝

The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we arrived. Orders were taken efficiently, recommendations were helpful, and the team remained attentive throughout the meal without being intrusive. This level of service made the entire experience comfortable and enjoyable, especially for guests who may be visiting from abroad. Atmosphere was equally impressive. The restaurant has a relaxed yet elegant ambiance, making it suitable for both casual dining and special occasions. The setting felt cozy and authentic, allowing guests to enjoy their meal without feeling crowded or rushed. Will come back again when I travel to Rome :) best place
