12/03/2025: Friendly and fast service, local raw materials enhanced in the menu. The speed brings some flaws to the dishes, which could be performed better. I took the Cjarsons: a little shy in terms of flavor, especially in the filling. Still good for the type of place and the price.

12/03/2025: Osteria alla Ghiacciaia is a place where the environment speaks for itself, testifying to the authenticity of this tavern and its long and continuous tradition of quality. Located close to a picturesque canal, in spring and summer it offers a perfect setting to enjoy its dishes, sitting outdoors and immersed in a relaxing atmosphere. There were two of us and we had the pleasure of tasting the artisanal tagliolini with San Daniele and the pork ribs, dishes that delighted us with their goodness and authenticity. As a starter, we opted for an assortment of mixed local cheeses, a true explosion of local flavours. Each dish was simply delicious and went perfectly with the red wine we chose. The staff were extremely friendly and the service was impeccable, quick and of high quality. You immediately perceive the passion and professionalism of those who work in this place. Visiting the Osteria alla Ghiacciaia is an unmissable experience for anyone in Udine. This place has been able to capture the Friulian spirit of the city over the years, keeping its authentic soul intact. A true jewel of Udine catering, where tradition and quality come together in a perfect union. Absolutely recommended!
