La Piazzetta In Casamassima

24/08/2025: After parking the car near the Villa Comunale in Giovinazzo and before venturing into the historic center for a stroll, we decided to grab a snack at this takeout pizzeria. We ordered pizzas and other pre-made dishes at the counter and sat down in a wooden structure built on the street with a few tables inside. It's a simple but welcoming place. Since it wasn't very crowded, they kindly served us at our tables. I have to say, the pizza was good; we enjoyed it. Whatever type they choose, they top it with black pepper and pecorino romano cheese—it's their signature touch—obviously optional. Prices for a whole pizza: €8 on average, which is now reasonable compared to other pizzerias.

13/07/2025: Very good pizza! I recommend picking it up in person, especially on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
