Interesting first courses, but not up to par with the second and desserts. Room for improvement.

The place, don't expect anything, is very simple and rustic, but don't let that discourage you; the food is excellent. The pinsas have a good, light dough with good-quality ingredients. It's a shame the base of the buffalo pinza was burned, but it was still good. It wasn't sent back to the kitchen. The fresh pasta (tonnarelli) is really good, and tastes great when cooked al dente. Pistachio carbonara is very good, but not very carbonara-like. Cacio e pistacchio is good, but after a while it gets boring because the dishes are deliciously generous. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside it's heaven! I tried the revisited carbonara with 'nduja, delicious!!! The flavors blended perfectly, I could have eaten more. Really good. We'll definitely be back.

I've been there twice: the first time I had an excellent gricia (a variation with 'nduja), the second time I was won over by the carbonara. They were truly good, and I'm picky! The homey atmosphere is typical of a trattoria, and the prices are very fair for the generous portions I received both times. The ingredients are good. I'll be back more often and will definitely recommend them to friends and relatives.

I visited Trattoria Romana "Dal Genio" in Parabiago and I must say it was a truly pleasant experience. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with attentive and friendly service that makes you feel right at home. The menu offers traditional Roman dishes, cooked to perfection: perfectly creamy carbonara, flavorful amatriciana, and textbook cacio e pepe. Generous portions and quality ingredients. The value for money is also excellent: you leave feeling full and satisfied, eager to return. Kudos to the entire staff: you can tell they cook with passion!

Such a good restaurant that really deserves Michelin star. Carbonara is from another planet, if you are visiting Milano this is a hidden gem.

If you're looking for a more romantic evening or one with a more refined lighting and atmosphere, it might feel a bit spartan, but if your goal is to eat well and tastefully, it's a surefire choice. A true gem of Roman cuisine in the heart of Parabiago!
