La Piadineria In Ravenna

Tasty thick piadina, loads of combinations, unfortunately no toilet

Authentic local produce, excellent freshly made products. It's now a regular stop when we pass through Ravenna.

It's a kiosk, so you can't expect too much from the structure but there are tables to eat on the spot. On the other hand, the piadina is fabulous, at least for my tastes. It's the slightly thicker type, very soft, melts in your mouth, but expertly made crunchy by heating it without burning it. Tried both in the raw version, squacquerone and rocket and mushrooms, sausage and gorgonzola, both excellent. Highly recommendable.

The classic Romagna piadineria, run by a very courteous couple who are truly capable in their work. Excellent piadina, Ravenna style and therefore quite high. It's fantastic with sausage, onion and peppers! The assortment of watercress is also remarkable. Must try.

Excellent piadina, closed veranda in winter to enjoy it.
