La Pescheria offers a basic, modest menu. Fried or grilled calamari and prawns, mussel peppered sauce, spaghetti with clams... seen and reviewed. But the customer must not dwell on that but look up at the sign that promises the fish counter. The bench is there and it is top quality and here we move from the Amateur series to playing in the Champions League. We caught a sea bream (weighed and declared price) which was simply superb. Yes it was "only" grilled, but what a flavour, when the raw material is excellent. In short, if you sit at the Fisherman's table, ignore the menu and decide to get serious.

Great location has great fish!
My rating is not 5 as I couldn't taste their first courses as the chef had already left, but we will return to verify his opinion and above all the bill in my opinion at least 20/25% more!!! However, we should go back again to get a more 360 degree view!

We have been twice. Luciano served us, friendly, a true cinematic character. The first time we had two seafood risottos and various side dishes, the second time we were offered a pizzuto snapper caught the same day between Gaeta and Ponza, with potatoes, preceded by a seafood fantasy as an appetizer. Everything excellent. To return when we return to Gaeta.

Interesting restaurant on the Gaeta seafront which stood out for the friendliness of the staff and the freshness of the products that were recommended and brought to me, the very tasty starter of fresh marinated fish and the excellent pitch grill thanks to the product that comes from the cooperative of fishermen to which the restaurant belongs. Luciano apparently deserves a mention as he has made catering a lifestyle. Well done

We had a great meal last night
Honest price Peschiera very fresh nice place very kind and honest waiter.
I made a mistake when paying the bill or gave me more money, but the waiter noticed it and gave me the difference back, I will definitely go back. Highly recommended.

I must say that I found complacent staff who satisfied our requests even if they were off the menu, overall a good dinner, the sore point are the prices, too high and not in line with the dishes or the environment, fresh fish day at 70 euros/kg is a mistake
