We had a wonderful evening. After a charming welcome from the owner, we chose a table in a corner of the dining room. The rather modern decor contrasts with the more classic facade. The menu was presented to us, clearly indicating what was homemade (almost all the dishes) but also what wasn't, which is rare! Kudos for the transparency. We shared an appetizer before moving on to delicious and reasonably sized pasta dishes. Finally, a dessert, coffee, and a complimentary digestif brought this excellent dinner to a close. If you're ever in the area, GO!

Worth a try! The owners, Max and Mara, were incredibly welcoming and polite! From the appetizers and starters to the main courses, every dish showed the chef's dedication and tasted superb. I tried the Italian oysters, fried fish, and handmade pasta, and the coffee at the end was especially delightful. The price was reasonable; highly recommended!

I had dinner with some friends. The dishes were exceptional, the flavors excellent! The owners were kind and helpful, and they patiently explained everything to me. I was truly beyond satisfied, so much so that I'd recommend it to friends and colleagues!

Wow! The best meal we had in our trip to northern Italy. Amazing food and service with a great passion to Ligurian cuisine. Everything was just delicious. Best Pesto sauce ever, amazing fresh seafood and pasta. Thank you Mara and Max, looking forward to returning!

A small but very fine restaurant. The food was delicious and something different. The owners were very accommodating and friendly. We've never had such a good meal in Italy. We'll definitely be back. 👌🏼

23/02/2026: It was a wonderful discovery. A refined, meticulously designed place, with attention to detail, all designed to immerse guests in a luxurious atmosphere, complemented by Monica and Roberto's sparkling hospitality. Comfortable, warm rooms, with thoughtful touches, and a superb breakfast. The hosts' kindness and helpfulness leave little room for shyness or hesitation. The location is strategic, leaving no room for doubt as to whether to go to Verona or Mantua: both are just a few kilometers away. Not to mention the villa itself, the central block: a well-preserved 18th-century marvel. A journey into the past. We will definitely return on our next trip!

28/02/2026: Nestled among the Valpolicella vineyards in a quiet setting away from busy roads, El Pendola restaurant is intimate, welcoming, and romantic. We dined on delicious, tasty, and high-quality local dishes. The extremely friendly staff is always attentive to detail. We'll be back, but this time we'll start with the desserts. I couldn't try them because I was too full, but they look amazing.
18/01/2026: The food and drink are excellent, the staff is fantastic, and the place is wonderful. I can't find any faults. Compliments to the management and the wait staff. Highly recommended!
