Great service. Very helpful waiter, speaks well English. Came few times to our table to make sure food is good and to ask is we need anything else. Food was really good! Pizza without gluten was great! Tasted as regular pizza! I highly recommend this place !

The pizza was quite good, but I personally wouldn't have needed any extra oil and would have preferred more tuna. The opening hours were great for an early dinner, though.

We spent 6 days in Modica and ended up coming back to La Perla 3 times, that says it all! The restaurant is located on a very charming square, with a large terrace that’s perfect for enjoying a beautiful evening. The pizzas are excellent: thin crust, a wide variety of choices, something for everyone. The staff is very kind and welcoming, and the value for money is excellent with pizzas between 9€ and 13€. Don’t miss the house red wine (vino rosso), it’s delicious (and a little dangerous 😉). Overall, a great Sicilian experience!

The pizza is the best Sicily has to offer so far. Combined with the warm weather and the easy outdoor seating, it was perfect! We went there three times in our six days in Modica because the price/performance ratio is incredible. A good pizza costs €17 in Germany, but here you can get a much better one for €9-14. The house red wine is also highly recommended – you have to be careful to make it home safely! Best wishes!

Everything was delicious, and the ordering speed was impressive. The service was top-notch. The only downside was the noise of the street traffic (sitting outside), even though it was filtered by the plants.

Highly recommended, a beautiful location in the historic center of Modica, with a view of the castle and the clock, very romantic. The staff is polite and professional, but what struck me most was the truly delicious pizza, and above all, it's not at all expensive. Congratulations, 5 stars.

Excellent family dinner in the heart of Modica. Excellent food, from the pizza to the deconstructed cannoli for dessert. Attentive and fast service. I recommend it to everyone!!!

I've never seen such fast service in my entire life... I didn't even have time to order fries before the pizzas were already on the table. I recommend the Pearl Pizza 🤩, truly the best.

26/07/2025: Such a great little find in Modica, away from all the touristy spots! Pizzeria S. Antonio is a cosy, no-frills place where you get proper Italian pizza — tasty, fresh, and super affordable (some start at just 5 or 6 euros!). The vibe is warm and welcoming, the staff are lovely and really helpful, even if you don’t speak Italian at all 😉 The pizza menu is massive, so there’s definitely something for everyone, and honestly, everything we tried was delicious. If you’re in Modica and want great pizza at a fair price, away from the crowds, this place is a must. Definitely a hidden gem!

La Bottega della Pizza

18/09/2025: I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to eat truly excellent food, both in quality and flavor. We were invited thinking it was just a pizzeria, because of the excellent pizzas, but beyond the pizzas and the dishes on the menu, we chose one from the seasonal menu that includes several seafood appetizers (photos of which are posted), truly delicious and at a very reasonable price. I'm not sure if the photos do it justice because we had already started eating. It also includes a marinated shrimp with lime and nocepesca (which I couldn't photograph), a truly generous trio of smoked meats, a swordfish caponata, a shrimp cocktail and seafood salad, and a delicious fried calamari... A stunning location in a town that has perhaps been overlooked until now... If you go to visit the Loggia del Sinatra in the evening, I recommend eating at La Bottega. The staff is truly friendly!
