Nice place immersed in the countryside, we arrived at this restaurant passing through, we immediately felt at home, family atmosphere, very good food prepared with care, very good local wine, very well kept clean place.

I want to share with everyone the fantastic experience we had during our family holiday in the province. of Trapani, Calatafimi Segesta. We land on the Pisa Trapani flight at 2.40 pm, collect our rental car and leave for our apartment. During the journey we look for a place to eat, and given the time there weren't many places open. Luigi replied telling us that we could arrive at any time because they would be waiting for us... there were 4 adults and 3 children. We arrive around 3.15pm, room on the street, with parking at the back. Renovated environment, very nice and welcoming, with air conditioning (fortunately😅), they let us sit. Family-run place, Luigi the chef and handyman, wife in the kitchen and very cute son serving. We rely on him for the dishes since it was our first time in Sicily and we wanted to try local things... it comes with appetizers consisting of a tegamara of mussels in sauce with toasted bread, a tegamara of mussels in white, parsley and garlic, and a plate of mixed fried foods with cold fish starter and various rustic appetizers... bread of unique goodness... we were already full... after all this, two trays of first courses, the delicious Busiate alla norma, and spaghetti with seafood... we couldn't finish them... wine, water, coffee, sorbets... €120... for 7 of us... welcomed as if we were acquaintances... we stayed positively amazed, so we returned 2 more times... we were now at home🤣 the evening before departure we fixed dinner with the request that he make us some baked sea bream as a second course... he proposed a mixed appetizer with mussels, raw with red shrimp, fantastic prawns and cicadas, of an exaggerated freshness, raw salmon and swordfish, octopus salad... various fried foods, cold fish salad, and he also brings us a typical pizza, like sfincione I think... good beyond belief... two second courses including Busiate tuna and aubergines...toppp...and second course 3 baked sea bream...cassatelle, wine, water and coffee, €230...always for 7...in Tuscany for one dinner like this (and I assure you that there are few places where you eat so well) we would have spent at least €70 each...he also offered us some things, such as pizza, some cassatelle and a bottle of wine...in this place makes you feel at home, they are uniquely welcoming, fantastic, kind people...at the end of the evening, they prepared 1.5kg of fresh busiate for us to take away and 1.3kg of Trapani pesto...what can I say? more, except that this is one one of those places that if you don't go you've truly missed out on a unique experience... thanks so much to Luigi, his wife, his son and all the very kind waitresses! We will definitely come back to visit you...❤️
