Coffee was ok, but the Granita was 5€ for a mid-sized cup and wasn’t anything special either. Felt ripped off at first but it’s the actual price. Haven’t seen granita this expensive in 5 weeks of cycling around Italy. :)

We were here almost every morning during our six-day stay. If no one is around who speaks fluent English, you can order anything you want with a few words of Italian and gestures. Filled croissants (cornetti), a wide selection of biscotti, and great coffee sweetened our start to the day every day (literally). All this for just a few euros, making this pasticceria definitely worth a visit.

Bar Pasticceria La Pergola is a true culinary excellence! We tried the creamy and flavorful gelato, made with fresh, authentic ingredients, and the simply fantastic granitas, refreshing and with an authentic flavor. The atmosphere is welcoming, clean, and meticulously maintained, while the staff is friendly, helpful, and always smiling. A perfect place to indulge in a sweet and refreshing break, definitely worthy of its 5 stars. We'll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beautiful place, a lovely garden, ample space... various services including ice cream (very good). Nutella crepes and more. Everything was well-served and well-maintained... excellent for spending an evening overlooking the sea and enjoying the relaxation of the place... a solid 7.

26/02/2026: The location is beautiful, split over two levels (with two dining rooms). The second level's dining room overlooks, thanks to large windows (which also open), the beautiful setting: a lovely, large pool with comfortable loungers and umbrellas, and greenery behind it. The staff is friendly, and the prices are fair, both for the food and the pool entrance. Unfortunately, the only downside is the food, which is absolutely subpar (I tried it twice for lunch and twice more at two events I was invited to), a sentiment shared by the other diners. It's a real shame; obviously, this aspect has a significant impact on the final rating.

26/09/2025: Truly a beautiful place, meticulously maintained in every way, from the food to the service to the location. Wonderful terrace. Choice of Neapolitan and Roman-style pizzas. Delicious supplì. Highly recommended!
17/09/2025: Fabulous pizza, breathtaking terrace. Of course, now you're probably wondering, why 3 stars? The answer, quite simply, for those who work in the restaurant business in Calabria, is always NO. If I want the pizza that's supposed to be white and red, you make it with tomato sauce. Of course, it's fair to be informed that the pizza chef recommends it that way, but if I want it red, and ask politely, you make it red. No way. I've seen this arrogant and annoyed attitude everywhere. As if the customer isn't well-liked.
