The "La Pentolaccia" restaurant in Erice is a true pearl, which goes far beyond the simple culinary experience thanks to the exceptional customer care. Even though it was a public holiday and we hadn't booked, the staff went out of their way to find us a table. Their kindness and helpfulness are truly out of the ordinary: each waiter was attentive and thoughtful, making our lunch even more special.
And speaking of food, the busiate with Trapani-style pesto was a delight: a skillfully prepared dish, where the pasta was perfect and the sauce rich and tasty, which made us feel immersed in the true flavors of Sicily (a word from Palermo) . The fresh and crunchy bread that accompanied the dish was another perfect touch: good enough to be enjoyed on its own, but excellent for making a slipper!
An experience we recommend wholeheartedly!

Siamo stati a pranzare il giorno dell Epifania presso questo ristorante . Dopo un antipasto ottimo abbiamo preso due primi Ravioli all ericina e tagliatelle alla pentolaccia, come secondi filetto di maiale con fonduta di formaggio e costata di vitello alla lupara. Poi dei dolcini ericini con passito offerto. Tutto super ottimo con il personale gentilissimo disponibile e veloce. Un plauso ad Ignazio e a tutti

Right in the center of Erice, this restaurant has been a point of reference for more than 30 years! Typical Sicilian food, excellent wines, exquisite staff and a warm and welcoming environment ensure that the Tradì della Pentolaccia is always alive! Excellent meat and fish dishes enhanced by fresh pasta made daily and accompanied by exquisite typical desserts, also homemade. A stop at Pentolaccia is highly recommended if you are going to visit the beautiful medieval village of Erice.

I wanted to point out this excellent restaurant in Erice historic center because it is a paradise for celiacs. THE ENTIRE MENU is also gluten-free. Generous portions, quick, friendly and friendly service. The starter is a cappuccino of fried calameretti, the first course is spaghetti with Trapani sauce and I didn't miss the dessert.
The wine list is a little expensive.
They offered us liquor.
A must try!!!! Well done!

Sono andato in questo ristorante quasi per caso ma sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso. La location è veramente bella, in una suggestiva stradina di Erice.
Ho mangiato dei ravioli con ricotta e spinaci veramente buoni, i sapori erano molto delicati. Il dolce (tiramisù) era perfetto.
Vi ritornerò sicuramente

Fabulous couscous, the swordfish rolls and caponata are also excellent. The only thing I find out of place is the 5 euro cover charge. But I recommend it anyway

Very good restaurant with beautiful decor.
Cordial and warm welcome.
We had an antipasto rustico (with good cheese, cold meats, olives and dried tomatoes); pesto pasta (with pistachio, excellent pesto) and “La Pentolaccia” pasta.
The tiramisù was exquisite and very filling for an inexpensive price.
I loved this restaurant and I highly recommend it!
