Tasteless fish soup, fair prices

This was a nice dining experience, in the heart of Erice, filled with history. We had the fish couscous while our hosts went for a variation of busiate alla trapanese. Our couscous dish had a fillet of fish and some calamari, which was different from our experience with previous such dish. The fish was a bit on the fatty side, and the fish sauce was a bit more greasy than we expected, but the flavour was undoubtedly from the sea. We elected to have the house wine - and it was a nice pairing. This is an unpretentious restaurant, allowing for a nice evening. The restaurant has multiple levels, allowing for privacy when needed as well as quaint views of the alley. Be mindful of the opening hours: it opens for windows of 2-3 hours, twice daily.

Fresh fish and excellent dishes, very good couscous. Best restaurant tried in 14 days on the west coast of Sicily!

Helpful staff and quick service for a peaceful lunch: excellent artisanal pasta, tagliatelle alla piñata with a truly local flavor and busiate with Trapani pesto! Very generous portions with beautiful plating, accompanied by warm bread in a refined environment.

Very nice place. Good value for money, the ingredients were fresh with particular combinations. The ravioli stuffed with grouper are excellent. Reception in a manner. The only thing I didn't like purely in terms of service and gesture was having received a bottle of water once seated without having asked for it which was then charged €3. Plus the bottle had a label that said sparkling, when it was still water, which made me turn up my nose a bit. A small detail that absolutely didn't ruin the evening, but which I wanted to leave as a starting point for improvement.

Posto tranquillo sarà per la stagione molto bello e curato, abbiamo mangiato molto bene, il cous cous di pesce una vera prelibatezza e i ravioloni ricotta e spinaci abbondanti e saporiti. Il resto tutto molto buono e prezzi adeguati alle quantità e alla qualità dei piatti
