We ate as a couple, huge portions, very modest seafood appetizer on the raw fish... 5 truffles and 3 oysters and a generous amberjack carpaccio priced at €30... the quality of the seafood was really high but a few additions didn't hurt... the first courses were really generous... very hectic service with a bit too much pressure from the waiters despite the place being half empty... overall a good restaurant but in need of a little tweaking...

Here, I enjoyed a fish fillet with strawberries: a surprising and incredible combination, demonstrating the creativity of the kitchen. The appetizers, meanwhile, offer both unique delicacies and more traditional options, to please every palate. The staff is renowned for their friendliness, and the owner captivates with his warmth, kindness, and ever-present smile. I even had the pleasure of discussing art with him. As for the prices, they're not overbearing, nor excessive: in line with the class and caliber of the establishment. A restaurant worth trying and recommending for anyone seeking an unforgettable experience of taste and hospitality in Olbia.

I returned to La Palma as every time I go to Sardinia. As always, raw food is their specialty. Very fresh and safe fish. The first courses are less good. The grilled second courses are excellent. Average cost.

The staff didn't speak English but the menu was both in English and Italian. They were friendly and the food and wine was excellent!

Hotel Aldiola Country Resort

06/09/2025: Overall, this hotel is a lovely, peaceful place to unwind. The rooms consist of semi-detached "cottages" built into the hillside. Access is via a stepped path, making them immediately inaccessible for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. Breakfast is included, while lunch and dinner can be enjoyed à la carte or from a set menu, which is provided in writing at breakfast. A few caveats: one, as I mentioned earlier, is that the rooms (cottages) are generally quite noisy. Thirdly, the menu offered (via the breakfast menu) doesn't always meet expectations. For example, the salad is like antipasto, with chopped cabbage lacking in flavor. The same cabbage is used as a garnish/vegetable with a veal schnitzel. The price-quality/quantity ratio is not balanced, placing this hotel in the higher price range. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return, but perhaps for one or two nights.
18/08/2025: A resort hotel in a charming location, nestled among the mountains, overlooking the lake. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with the added bonus of being located on the mountainside. The pool is beautiful and sunny. The staff is 10/10. Breakfast is top-notch, although if you want something more specific or cooked, you have to pay extra. Dinner is quality in a peaceful atmosphere.
