My favorite restaurant in Olbia

I went for dinner, top quality raw fish, delicious as were the first courses at an excellent price!!

I booked this restaurant following a suggestion from a friend, who told me that the La Palma restaurant is the best in Olbia. I was very disappointed with this experience. Restaurant with furnishings dating back to the 2000s. Professional but unsociable wait staff. Limited menu compared to other restaurants of the same level. Food in the without infamy and without praise. Definitely a high count. The only positive thing is the good quality raw fish. I will definitely not go back.

We went to dinner tonight 09/21/24 at La palma in Olbia. We ate very well The appetizers were excellent, especially the bottarga with celery The first course was good, linguine bottarga and mussels Cozy restaurant, nice people.! I wanted to give a note of credit to the lady in charge of the restaurant, for her kindness, for her availability and for the treatment she gave me as it was the first time I set foot in the restaurant. Despite the good food, the restaurant only gets 3 stars. The waiter wasn't really hospitable, I had the feeling that tourists weren't really welcome. At first glance the prices seem 'normal' for Italian standards, but strangely enough they charged more than what was on the menu (I ordered a fish that, as far as I know, cost €20 and then I was charged €22). Well, maybe I did something wrong when ordering. Unfortunately, I don't speak Italian, which of course the waiter noticed immediately, and yet he only spoke in Italian. I didn't think anything of it, but at the end he asked in German whether we had only ordered one glass of wine or two. I felt a bit ripped off because he even speaks German. Well, the food tastes good, but the service leaves a lot to be desired.

Top of the range. Are you allergic to gluten? No problem, they have bread and it's delicious warmed up in the oven too! Nickel-free cutlery. Scary oysters, freshly caught. I showed them the photo of the bottle of wine and they replied: "yes, sir, I'll bring it to you straight away". Great professionalism, kindness, scents of the sea and a pinch of their magic, La Palma... I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Buona qualità in generale. Buona preparazione e qualità del cibo. Personale di sala attento e professionale. Il proprietario presente in sala supervisiona personalmente e gestisce con esperienza le richieste dei clienti. Locale sicuramente da rivisitare. Prezzo proporzionato alla qualità della cucina e del servizio.

Without a doubt the best restaurant on the Costa Smeralda! Exceptional quality, very kind staff! Excellent value for money!

Il pesce più buono mangiato durante la nostra vacanza a puntaldia. Ostriche freschissime, talmente buone che ne abbiamo ordinate una seconda porzione. Linguine cozze e bottarga ottime, come il calamaro ripieno consigliato come seconda portata dal proprietario. Altamente raccomandato, sebbene la location non sia panoramica e particolarmente curata.
