11/12/2025: A place with genuine charm, a warm atmosphere, and a striking detail—the old manger transformed into a stream—that recalls the history of the place and gives the room character. The welcome is courteous, and the service is discreet, albeit allowing for a few minor distractions during busy periods. The cuisine alternates well-executed dishes with more subdued ones. The tartare is good quality but lightly seasoned, while the baked escarole surprises with its balance and flavors reminiscent of home cooking. The mondeghili are disappointing: overly fried, with almost no filling, and a lackluster sauce. The charcuterie and cheese platter is of a completely different caliber, refined and well-constructed, with unusual options that enhance the selection. The wine is a perfect choice, and the bill is commensurate with the experience. You leave satisfied, with the impression of a restaurant with history and potential, and one that deserves a second visit, perhaps to sample those first courses that gave off inviting aromas as they passed by our table.
