Excellent trattoria. Excellent value for money, fair for what I ate. The rabbit, pasta, tagliata, skewers, and tiramisu were exquisite. You can taste and see that everything is fresh and homemade. Nothing industrial. Excellent service. The staff were kind, polite, and courteous. This is where you can truly savor the flavors of the Piceno region! I'll definitely be back.

I've been to La Paesana and I must say it was a truly exceptional experience! Every dish was meticulously crafted, with fresh ingredients and perfectly balanced flavors. You can immediately sense the chef's passion and expertise. The service was impeccable: the staff were kind, attentive, and always smiling, ready to recommend dishes and wines with great professionalism. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, perfect for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends. A varied yet discreet menu, with excellent value. I especially recommend the fritto misto all'ascolana, simply delicious! In short, a restaurant where quality, flavor, and courtesy come together perfectly. I can't wait to return!

Raw meat with hair and I didn't like the service

A trattoria located at the foot of the fortress that serves local dishes. We were disappointed with the dishes. A charcuterie board with four measly slices of prosciutto, two of salami, and one of coppa. A mixed cheese platter: half a buffalo mozzarella and two tablespoons of stracciatella. We expected more variety and abundance. Fried lamb ribs: undoubtedly good, but again a meager portion...perhaps in this case I would have paid more attention to the plating and included a matching side dish. Campofilone macaroni with ragù: excellent, although the ragù could have been reduced a bit. Considering that all portions were for one person (we wanted to make a quick stop and indulge more than we were hungry), we spent €67. Considering the amount we ate, this is a bit on the high side.
