La Ola is a magnificent place. I've been coming here for years and honestly don't understand the negative reviews. It's a unique place: a terrace overlooking the sea, like being on a yacht at anchor. You're literally on the open sea, both in the interior dining room with its large windows overlooking the water and on the enchanting terrace nestled among the rocks. I had lunch with an all-seafood menu: fish first course, fish second course, side dish, water, wine, and coffee... only 20 euros. But what's truly impressive is the quality of the food, combined with a setting of rare beauty. It fills your heart with the light, the scent of the sea, and the authentic atmosphere you breathe. 21/10/2023: I have been going to eat in this place almost every Saturday evening for more than 5 years, a beautiful place as soon as you come down the stairs, the lady and the chef, her husband are very kind but above all I always happily come back to this place, delicious food, I would just like to say one what have I heard people who don't like putting negative reviews these are the same people who according to them understand food, they understand whether the fish is fresh or not, they are those with a refined palate who want to teach the profession to a chef, but they are the same people who takes fish dishes but they take half a liter of house wine and I don't know they take a closed bottle to open in front of them, putting reviews on a wine that they don't do it either seems squalid to me, personally I've been for 15 years what I eat in Vieste and the mill is one of the best places there are to spend a nice evening with friends, if I recommend it???? Absolutely yes .
11/10/2023: Pasta OK. Prices cheap. Staff pretty friendly. Fish is not recommended (seppia is very tough). House wine is cheap and therefore not of the highest quality. Ambience great.
