La Nuova Melatina In Riparbella

A lovely roadside restaurant with excellent food and attentive staff. Definitely worth a stop. I was there a few days ago with my family during our Tuscany holiday, and we'll be back. The card payment machine was broken during our visit. We didn't have any cash on us, but we were able to bring the money the following evening without any problems. I would even have offered to transfer the money on the spot or leave a deposit. The trust they place in their guests is incredible. Heartwarming.

I went to La Melatina restaurant and was truly satisfied, very satisfied! My friends, Corrado and Domenica, had given me excellent advice. The cuisine is authentically Tuscan, with dishes prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The service was impeccable, with attentive, friendly, and helpful staff. The restaurant is welcoming and rustic, with an atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. After my first experience and before returning home from vacation, I went there twice more, and I couldn't miss the opportunity to eat at this restaurant. On these three occasions, I ordered different dishes, and what can I say, they were all delicious!!! The house wine was excellent, both the red and the white. And finally, don't miss the dessert! It's amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to taste authentic Tuscan cuisine. I also cook game, but believe me, they know how to cook it really, really well. My heartfelt compliments to the owner, a truly delightful and capable person. And finally, allow me a joke: they have only one flaw: they're in Riparbella, and I'm in Genoa. Restaurant serving excellent Tuscan cuisine at reasonable prices

We've eaten here several times and were always extremely satisfied. Whether it was pizza or Tuscan cuisine, the value for money was excellent. Very good house wine (we only drank red wine), and the attractively priced combination of an appetizer plus either a pasta or meat dish (in this case, plus a side dish) was nice. We were always completely full. The staff was very attentive, and English was enough to get by.

Typical Tuscan dishes featuring plenty of game and more. Unbeatable value. The owner and staff are spectacular. Highly recommended!

I booked for dinner as a couple, we ate two 20 euro menus (including water and wine), a dessert and a coffee, total bill 55 euros, there must have been a mistake, I don't think a dessert and a coffee cost 15 euros, the food was good and well cooked and the service too, very efficient, the only flaw was the bill, thinking back I would have done well to contest it directly

La Nuova Melatina was a wonderful discovery! It's located on the road from Riparbella to Volterra, nestled in the Tuscan countryside. The setting is simple yet welcoming, with a genuine atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. During my visit, I tried the Tuscan antipasto and pizza: generous portions, authentic flavors, and a truly excellent pizza dough—light, flaky, and delicious. The cuisine is typically Tuscan, homemade, and authentic, just as you'd expect from a local restaurant. The owners are kind and helpful, the staff knowledgeable and friendly: you can sense the passion they put into running the restaurant. This place exceeded my expectations; I highly recommend stopping by and trying it.

Typical Tuscan restaurant where you can eat well and spend the right amount

Every time I go to Monteverdi Marittima, on the way home, I stop here for lunch. And every time they outdo themselves, typical true Tuscan cuisine. Everything is excellent, from the pasta, to the main courses, to the side dishes, to the house wine. Very kind staff, fast service. Everything is superb, kitchen, bar, dining room!!!! The price is unbeatable!!!! I highly recommend!!!!! I'll be back again and again!!!

A good place to stop and eat good food at a fair price, first course, second course with side dish, water and coffee for €12.
