La Nicchia Cafe In Roma

A very tasty stop...La Nichia Cafe was the meeting place and first stop on our food tour. Like so many others, we enjoyed the food, wine and atmosphere. We now know about the quality olive oils and balsamics and had a chance to taste and compare the differences.

This a fantastic little cafe. We went there on a food tour and were able to taste so many of their products they sell. High quality balsamic vinegar up to 30 year aged!! (Pricey) Delicious pestos basil and sundried tomato both. The classic Italian meats are fantastic. Wonderful prosecco and vernaccia as well as chianti classico. Go find this place (not far from Bonci pizza) or better yet do 'the Roman Food Tour' and you will get the best experience!!

Like many others, I came here on a food tour and the sampling we were offered on our tour were fantastic. Perhaps better than the food and coffee was the shop keeper from Estonia, who had a great sense of humor and was very welcoming.

Great spot for high quality Italian food. Loved the green pesto and truffled honey! Highly can recommend this spot!

Nina is phenomenal, she made our tasting experience so fun and informative! she is so kind and fun while having so much knowledge about all of the products and history of every ingredient! nina made this experience a joy! :)

Stopped here on a food tour, and had a lovely sampling of some of their products for sale. Really delicious and unique! The staff was lovely, and answered all questions we had about the items. Ended up going home with some yummy pesto! They also have exclusive items for sale, such as a 100 year aged balsamic!

Went there as part of Pasta and tiramisu Cooking class booked through Get Your Guide and it was a fabulous experience! The chef Liis was funny and engaging and did a wonderful job with explaining the history of Italian cuisine. The food tasting was amazing, we were sampling bruschettas with different pestos, aged balsamic vinegar from Reggio Emilia, cheeses and truffle products. 10/10 for presentation, choice of products and delivery!
