Very tasty food. We tried risotto, fish and tiramisu, everything was yummy. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and gave good advices.

La Motta was THE best restaurant my husband and I visited in Orta San Giulio. The atmosphere was simple, but elegant. The waiter helped us select a local wine to accompany our dinner. The dishes were flavorful, and dessert was divine. If you are in Orta San Giulio, we highly recommend a dinner at this lovely establishment.

The venue is gorgeous, the staff is very friendly and the food is great. The prices aren't even that high for such a nice restaurant, my partner and I had a wonderful dinner for our anniversary. One of the waiters was kind enough to even answer our tourist questions. It is a place that I will carry in my heart

Restaurant a stone's throw from the central square of Orta. Good dishes, excellent service. We didn't particularly appreciate the tables without tablecloths (they were sticky). Overall still satisfied.

06/01/2025: We had dinner here with our dear friends from Biella a few evenings ago. Warm and welcoming environment, excellent gastronomic offerings, including the veal with tuna sauce and the risotto with Bra sausage, truly exceptional. Account in line with the proposed quality. Advised!
16/12/2024: We had a wonderful evening, and dinner was truly an unforgettable experience. The restaurant has a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a chat with friends. The staff were attentive and helpful, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The dishes were simply delicious: fresh, well presented and with unique flavor combinations that satisfied our palates. Each course was a journey of taste, from the first course to the dessert. The recommended wine was perfect to accompany each dish. It was a moment of pure relaxation and pleasure, and we can't wait to return for another dinner together. I highly recommend this restaurant for a special evening with friends!

08/08/2024: Aperitivo alla calabrese. Ottima alternativa al solito aperitivo “in” da locale da centro città. Al piccolo locale dall’arredamento semplice ma ben distribuito e pulito, si contrappone una cordialità dello staff sommata all’alta qualità dei prodotti tipici calabresi. Non appena però iniziano ad arrivare i taglieri vi accorgerete di non partecipare al solito aperitivo ma un vero e proprio apericena abbondante, buono e soddisfacente. Lo staff non da’ mai l’impressione di dare limite alle pietanze comprese nel prezzo. Ciliegina sulla torta: ‘nduja su pane riscaldato. MUST TASTE!!! Prezzo totale 12€ a testa nel mio caso per Tagliere + Bottiglia di vino e acqua divisa con la compagnia. Esperienza che ricorderete e consiglierete. Inoltre al banco si possono prendere anche i prodotti che avete mangiato. ULTIMO SUGGERIMENTO: Se prenotate vi faranno trovare tutto già pronto.
