Wonderful traditional trattoria with outside and indoor seating, serving a variety of local dishes.
We went for three pasta dishes, tagliatelle al ragu, tortellini in brodo, and taglialini in onion sauce, all of which were delicious, washed down with a carafe of house red.
The dishes were simple but full of flavour and the service was prompt and friendly.
Very reasonably priced and seems to be a popular spot with locals and tourists alike.

Welcomed by trained staff and we immediately felt at ease. Small but super clean place including the toilet. Starting with the tasting of appetizers where the mortadella mousse with brioche bread were the protagonists for their superb flavor. And what about the first courses ordered... tagliatella with ragù that tasted like grandmothers' and the passatelli made dry with raw ham and courgettes melted in my mouth and left me so enraptured that I even complimented them.
Once we got to the desserts (homemade), the Milanese cake accompanied with mascarpone cream and tiramisu concluded the lunch maintaining the authenticity of the flavors until the end. The staff is available, capable and present and I would like to thank them.

This restaurant is great! I don't understand why it only has 4.4 it should have a 5! It's the simple and unpretentious cuisine that you find here, real Italian cuisine and the price is more than fair compared to other restaurants in the city. The dishes are cute and the service was great.

Restaurant near the famous window, on via Righi.
Had dinner inside the restaurant, where there is no air conditioning, but only fans.
There are also some tables outside on the sidewalk.
The place looks nice, in a particularly vintage style.
It offers typical Emilian cuisine.
The staff is kind and accommodating.
Pet friendly.

La Montanara is our favorite restaurant in Bologna, and we specifically came back to Bologna just to come to this restaurant.
The tortellini en brodo is a must get, but all dishes we’ve tried so far - the onion pasta, ragu, were all stellar.
They even brought out a water dish and snacks for our doggy.
10/10 food, 10/10 atmosphere and 10/10 service!
