The food was very good, both pastas that we asked for were really tasty (Casoncelli and raviolis) but the bread was old. Something not acceptable in an expensive restaurant like this one. Service was good. 60 euro for a couple with not big portions of food I still think is too much.

Super nice place! Casoncelli and selection of cold cuts were very good. A very nice young man served us, let us taste some wines and was really very friendly. We enjoyed the good service and the food.

But how nice it is to eat under the portico in the beautiful Bergamo Alta. Exquisite Casoncelli and incomparable cheeses. Truly special Taleggio. Quick and courteous service. Well done!

For Easter Monday, great at the Donizetti

Aperitivo lungo a mezzodì. Degustazione di salumi e di lardi, prelibati, accompagnati da un Brunello di Montalcino del 2019. Sublime! Da ripetere ogni volta che si è un po’ depressi…. L’umore dopo va alle stelle. Servizio di sala eccellente e molto professionale….. Bravi!

Top! While walking we saw the place, small and intimate, it seemed like a cuddle... just what we were looking for and luckily we also found it! Fantastic staff, kind and sincere, the dishes were really excellent, we had the lard tasting and the quality was really clear, second cheek... it was cut with a spoon and not in a manner of speaking... but literally... they really know what they do in the kitchen! For those who have complaints about the prices I would say that in a tourist area you know you pay a little more, the really bizarre thing is finding a place where you eat really well and that is worth the trip! Don't be discouraged by the reviews but at the same time if as customers you always demand reason... well go ahead and leave room for those who appreciate the good work of this business!

Probably the single best meal I had this trip. The food is prepared with a delicacy that is hard to find. I don't get the bad reviews. Of course you're going to pay fine dining prices for fine dining.
