We like going to La Mescita: a typical, basic place, few dishes but typical and without frills. In an increasingly commercial Florence that covers up its beauties to make tourists happy, having lunch at La Mescita is a real refreshment. The only note, they don't like ATMs.

We really liked the place! After the Leonardo da Vinci Museum we accidentally came across this place and went for lunch and we did not regret it. There were no people, it was quiet, the gentlemen there were very polite. The food was cheap and very tasty. The interior is authentic and the whole experience was very pleasant.

Bellissimo locale, si torna indietro di 100 anni, infatti locale storico nato nel 1919, Menu tipico toscano, vino genuino, costo basso, qualità alta. È piccolissimo si deve essere fortunati per trovare posto.

Visitamos la Mescita para nuestro almuerzo del domingo era muy tranquilo dando una naturaleza muy íntima al almuerzo. Teníamos la pasta con ragu, pappa al pomodoro y salsiccia e fagioli. La comida fue sacada oportunamente con un sabor muy toscano. Un bonito lugar tranquilo para un pequeño almuerzo a muy buenos precios.
