La Mescita In Firenze

Among the few, wonderful places that should become the heritage of that humanity that still knows how to savor and enjoy good food. We took: peposo (I asked for the recipe: I will try to replicate it but the Florentine hand will be missing), tripe, chickpeas and beans all'uccelletto: all excellent. Incredible quality/price ratio. It becomes an obligatory stop when you are in Florence. Reservations are necessary: ​​the place is small and those who know it won't miss it.

The owner was super friendly wand locked us in and read us the menu of the day as our Italian isn’t up to scratch :). Soon after ducking away to start cooking he was right back out with our food. It was so fresh and tasty we got a second round of dishes to try the rest of the menu. Would recommend if you like good food.

A very good restaurant in the center of Florence, a modest menu, only a few tables, but the food was fantastic, typical Italian and Tuscan cuisine.

Trattoria caratteristica con i sapori di un tempo. Materie prime di grande qualità. Torneremo sicuramente. Consigliatissimo!!!
