La Merceria In Modica

Nice location in the center of Modica, quick and informal service, and interesting aperitif options. I didn't like the draft beer. Recommended.

We were welcomed by a very kind, knowledgeable and helpful girl, a calm and cheerful atmosphere with live background music that was not annoying, and the food: we tried some appetizers including cacio e pepe potatoes, pistachio and mortadella, fried Ragusano and nuggets. We started off well from the appetizers to say the least. The service was fast, everything was piping hot and above all tasty, absolutely living up to expectations (truly high quality). To continue, we tried the Uruguayan Angus chuck roll, Florentine heifer and spicy ribs: everything was truly top-notch (the seating they created for us to accompany this meat was remarkable). I am very happy to have taken the advice of a dear friend of mine to try "La Merceria", truly compliments to the owner and the staff.

Excellent experience, the food and drink were excellent, and the service was impeccable. The waiter Marco was friendly and kind, always serving us with a smile. I highly recommend!

A very nice place and excellent food (sandwiches, appetizers, aperitifs and quality meat)... the guys who run it are special, they explain every detail of the food and are very kind to the customer. Background music accompanies relaxing evenings in this splendid venue in the center of Modica. I recommend going 😉

Wide selection of spritzes, cocktails, appetizers, meats, beers, and desserts. Highly recommended. The staff is friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Prices are average and reasonable for the quality of the products. I'll be back.

We ordered online but we were missing a burger. The burgers were amazing and the restaurant handled the missing burger perfectly. Good food and excellent customer service!

A very dear colleague who works in Modica introduced me to this place. I have to say it was a real discovery; the food was excellent, from the appetizers to the burgers, and the service was also very professional. The price was average.
