Great food in a very welcoming environment. Excellent price quality. Well done!

Friends from Foligno took us to eat here and they couldn't have made a better choice! The place is small, perhaps a little noisy, but the food is excellent, traditional dishes. I personally took a dive into the past by getting the stuffed pigeon. As an appetizer, gobbi parmigiana, another dish that is not often found. They have a weekly menu, with some fixed dishes and other variable ones, while on Sundays they have Sunday lunch. We will definitely have to come back to taste the rest 🙂

Five stars are not enough for this gem of Foligno that must be seen and savoured!

I must say that Federico (I think the owner) is a very valid presence in the room!!! We also met our partner Claudia who takes care of the kitchen! We'll be back

Traditional dishes, revisited in a modern key, but without useless fashionable artifices. Staff and owners always courteous, present and attentive. Excellent raw materials and very honest prices. Booking recommended.

La Mattera is always a guarantee for those who love traditional cuisine and genuine dishes from the past, almost like those of your grandmother... yes, here you feel a bit at home... and the kindness of the staff and a few smiles are never lacking more than the average of other restaurants

Every time I come to Foligno I tell myself to try other places but then the desire to come back here is more and more! It will be the tenth time I've been back and every time it gets better! They are super kind and quick, the quality of the food PHENOMENAL! Thank you thank you thank you

Siamo venuti attratti dalle recensioni precedenti ed è stata una piacevole esperienza. Personale molto cortese, menù ristretto ma molto curato con proposte di cucina locale con un tocco innovativo. Porzioni adeguate e prezzi nella norma. Ci tornerei dovessi ricapitare a Foligno.
