Excellent value for money, good and abundant dishes. We ate fish, very fresh, abundant dishes and cooked very well. Definitely worth trying are the linguine with cuttlefish ink, Mazara shrimp and burrata and the boiled octopus (super good), all "seasoned" with a professional service but at the same time that makes you feel at home. If you pass by these parts, I highly recommend it.

Grande gentilezza e cibo ottimo. Eravamo un grande gruppo di studenti/dottorandi/docenti e il servizio è stato impeccabile. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene e ci siamo sentiti a casa. Torneremo sicuramente

We only took one first course, ravioli with ricotta and spinach in tomato sauce, really excellent, the only flaw, and that's the reason why I gave the food three stars, a really small portion, at least mine, maybe they didn't look at the dish carefully but there were only 5 ravioli. There were at least 9 in the other dishes. Good sorbet.

Consiglio innanzitutto di venire a Gibellina e visitare il museo delle Oristiadi, sarà una bellissima sorpresa. Per il pranzo su suggerimento del personale del museo siamo venuti al Ristorante la Massara sempre a Gibellina, consiglio di prenotare, ambiente familiare, servizio rapido e professionale, cucina eccezionale, gli antipasti, la frittura di pescato, le polpettine di neonato e la caponata ottimi. Poi abbiamo optato per i primi, un cous cous di pesce, busiate carciofi vongole e gamberetti, busiate al nero di seppia con tartare di gambero, calamari e zafferano.... eccezionali... , i dolci produzione propria, il conto non esagerato, vale la pena.

Trattoria Lidia Renda

22/07/2025: Trattoria near the Stagnone salt flats. The outdoor area is simple yet welcoming, and the service is fairly quick and, above all, extremely friendly. The food is generally excellent. We had seafood salad (very good), caponata (the only dish we weren't thrilled with), panelle (good), busiate with Trapani pesto and shrimp (very good), and carbonara (good). Overall, a good experience, especially considering the reasonable prices.
14/07/2025: Delicious food, excellent, and very friendly service. Having a very, very fussy daughter, we were very happy she ordered two plates of carbonara, which was excellent. The caponata was delicious. We'll be back before we leave.
