La Marinara In Marsala

We are practically at the entrance to the historic center, really 2 steps from Porta Garibaldi, therefore the perfect location and it would be a 5 star restaurant, if an excellent customer welcome, more than excellent service, and extreme availability towards needs and courtesy were enough, but unfortunately a restaurant is also and above all judged by its food and here, perhaps because expectations were high, it disappointed us a bit, as highlighted by others, something is missing, they have excellent material that they are unable to valorise, the cous cous which should be the main dish: mediocre, it lacks that note to make it special, the octopus ditto, and let's not go any further, you can certainly do much better, this is meant to be an incentive to improve, perhaps the fact of having to serve many customers takes away that extra attention to the dishes is essential, we have not highlighted any particular critical issues for some types of disabilities, finding parking in the area is difficult but not impossible, prices in line

I recommend it wholeheartedly, the restaurant is run by the whole family, parents and children. Fish have no secrets from them. The food is amazing and worth the price. The combination of flavors and freshness makes this restaurant feel like heaven. They specialize in fish and seafood. If you are in Sicily, this is a point on the map you must visit

Quite varied menu with typical local dishes. Good overall, but I expected something more in taste. I would not recommend spaghetti with goma wakame seaweed because it is very strong in taste and overpowers the flavor of the fish. Pleasant service and helpful waiters. The slightly uncomfortable chairs should be reviewed, because they would be small precautions to improve more and more, given the potential they have.

Impeccable welcome Excellent quality of fish.. Impeccable service... Suggestive location on Porta Garibaldi located at the entrance to the center of Marsala. Absolutely worth trying to savor delicious fish and enjoy excellent wine.

A little more expensive than the average of other places, but compensated by an excellent quality of the ingredients and a preparation of the main ingredients of a high level in terms of flavors but also in terms of attention to the aesthetics of the dish. The service was excellent, this time I opted for the appetizer of various tastings and for the second course amazing grilled octopus, served with pearls of balsamic vinegar, red onion powder and flavored lemon sauce and with pieces of cheese, olives, capers and cherry tomatoes. Highly recommended.

Tutto ottimo dagli antipasti (consiglio la tartare di salmone con alghe) ai primi. Il piatto più buono: spaghetti con bottarga e alghe wakame, un gusto incredibile. Che dire, siamo stati consigliati da gente del posto e avevano ragione. Posto NON turistico e cibo di qualità. Inoltre proprietari e camerieri molto gentili. Torneremo sicuramente!!

Great atmosphere and very tasty

Waren zum Lunch im Restaurant und was soll ich sagen hier kann man die italienische Lebensfreude genießen und wird sehr zuvorkommend bedient… Zuerst bekamen wir ein Gruß aus der Küche, was bei einem bodenständigen Restaurant in dieser Preisklasse eher ungewöhnlich ist…aber super lecker…Polenta mit Sepia-Tinte und einem Brot mit Fischbutter. Meine Spaghetti mit kleinen Gambas in einer Zitronensauce…göttlich!!! Das Oktopus-Carpaccio ein weiteres Highlight…Abschließend muss man sagen das das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis super war und der offene Rotwein konnte auch punkten!!!
