Das Restaurant liegt direkt am Eingang des Stadttores. Wir hatten einen Tisch draußen reserviert und fanden das Essen und auch den Hauswein gut. Preisleistung passt nicht ganz, aber geschmacklich war nichts auszusetzen. Eine kleine Portion Muscheln für 14 Euro ist nicht gerade ein Schnäppchen, geschmacklich waren diese aber gut.

I am infinitely grateful to the owner of the house where we stayed for having shown us this restaurant behind Porta Garibaldi.
The place is welcoming and has a sense of hospitality, the entree of panelle prepares you for an exceptional culinary experience.
For two we had a trio of exquisite arancini with squid ink and a tuna tartare that my husband said was divine. For second courses we ordered tuna kebab in piadina, wakame seaweed, a mixed fry (where the frying was imperceptible so delicate it was) and grilled vegetables. We accompanied everything with a kiké from the Fine cellars and to finish we had a deconstructed cannoli that immersed you in the typical flavors of the place.
To finish we were offered an excellent Marsala if we were to return to Marsala it will certainly be a destination for a dinner based on fresh fish.

Nice place: tables both outside under umbrellas, and indoors with comfortable armchairs, traps on the ceiling, rich fish display, very clean. Friendly staff. Convenient and roomy parking on the seafront three blocks away.
A decorative tassel across the table acts as a tablecloth, and the napkins are made of cloth. Plastic placemats with handy cutlery, balloons and a glass for water complete the mise en place. Three euros per person is the cover charge.
Two scented panelle with bottarga are offered.
The grilled octopus €18 is a whole octopus, so you can't complain about the quantity. Its homeopathic decorations are purely choreographic because they don't affect the flavor, and the grilling is almost non-existent.
The peppered mussels €14 have a delicate flavor, are perfectly clean and are cooked to perfection. Their dose is just enough, and they are neutral because there is no trace in the sauce of the classic ingredients that flavor them: onion, celery, carrot, parsley, chili pepper.
The €5 French fries that accompany them are perfectly cooked: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. And they are in adequate quantity for the mussels.
For dessert, a parfait, a semifreddo, with almonds, €6, closes the dinner. It is decorated on the surface with a full-bodied dose of industrial chocolate topping that, with its exaggerated sweetness, if it were not discarded would cover the almond that is barely perceptible anyway.
Two glasses, €6 each, of a pleasant and well-balanced Grecanico-Catarratto blend, with an imperceptible dose of sulfur, and a bottle of water, €3, make up the drink.
A taste of Marsala, good, offered.

He recommended fresh tuna that wasn't on the menu, so I had it lightly grilled on the surface and served it as ``tataki'' in Japanese.
The shrimp tartare also had seaweed wakame, which I thought was interesting.

From the first moment, the welcoming atmosphere and the fish on display set the stage for an unforgettable gastronomic experience. We started with a fresh and refined appetizer: tuna tartare with a touch of citrus, swordfish carpaccio and a delicate raw red prawn. Every bite was a journey into the most authentic flavors of the sea. The first course amazed with its balance and taste, a creamy and intense spaghetti with sea urchins that captured the essence of the Mediterranean, followed by a second course that left its mark, grilled red prawns accompanied with seasonal vegetables. All cooked to perfection, enhancing the quality and freshness of the ingredients and to end on a high note, a dessert that completed the lunch with sweetness and lightness: almond semifreddo with berry coulis, perfect to conclude this unique experience, a lunch to remember, absolutely recommended for those looking for authentic flavors and excellent quality.
