La Marianna In Bergamo

We couldn't miss going to La Marianna. Stracciatella exeperience very good, really kind staff. It is never banal to be welcomed with kindness, those who are tourists for a day often find indifference. Instead here and as in other places we visited in Bergamo, we found welcome as if we were regulars. Thank you.

We tried the local landmark, the stracsatella ice cream, but we also tasted pistachio and polenta sweets. Everything was delicious 🤗

I recommend trying the stracciatella experience…. It's true that €5 is a lot but it deserves it all. There's no point in beating around the bush... stracciatella is completely different (and significantly better) than what you find around.

Quando entri dalla porta della pasticceria ti senti già a casa... Sali la scala del ristorante e la sala ti accoglie con lo stesso calore famigliare - negli arredi, nell'atmosfera, nelle mise en place - che ha il pranzo della festa. Personale educatamente cordiale, garbato e professionale. Menù ricco di tradizione e di stuzzicanti originalità. Carta dei vini importante. Casoncelli alla bergamasca che raccontano una storia di mani che impastano e di buona macelleria, con la crocantezza del piatto affidata alla salvia sapientemente trattata. Il piccione è prelibatezza di rara delicatezza, accompagnato da un carciofo in perfetta cottura e da un raviolo immerso nel fondo bruno di cottura. Il dessert di stracciatella - vanto della casa e della pasticceria bergamasca - sublima un pranzo d'eccellenza, da ricordare anche per le belle opere d'arte alle pareti (segno inequivoco della sensibilità culturale della proprietà), tra le quali - inattese - due emozionanti opere del caro, carissimo amico Italo Chiodi. Qui ci tornerò, lo giuro!

Historic place in Bergamo and famous for the stracciatella ice cream invented here; it's a great bar/pastry shop and they also have a restaurant which we will definitely try in the future. We had an excellent snack enjoying their pastries, we will definitely return

Bella location per questo locale che ha dato i natali al gusto stracciatella di gelato, siamo stati qui solo per provare il famoso gusto e abbiamo fatto bene perché è veramente delizioso. Offrono una pasticceria molto fornita e hanno anche un ristorante con un grazioso Dehors all’ingresso. Valido sicuramente.
