According to our host in Bergamo, this is the best Straciatella ice cream in the world and it did not disappoint even moderate fans of this flavor. Other flavors are also worth trying. I recommend

We strolled around Bergamo old town and stopped at La Marianna for ice cream. We were told that it’s where stacciatella ice cream was born. Indeed it was absolutely delicious!

Eine Pause lohnt sich im Café Marianna, wo es das beste Stracciatella-Eis der Stadt gibt. Die Schokoladenstücke sind gigantisch. Das Stracciatella-Eis wurde übrigens in Bergamo erfunden. Aber auch die anderen Leckereien sind nicht zu verachten. Vor dem Café gibt es einen schönen Terrasssen-Garten.

I have been coming to this restaurant for more than thirty years, and never a disappointment! Everything is always perfect, they don't rest on their laurels and are innovative. The kindness of all the staff is certainly a characteristic of the restaurant. I add that they have a steak that is truly one of the best I have ever eaten!!!! VERY GOOD

Courteous and welcoming service, both during quick business lunches and celebratory dinners. After many addresses tried in this first year of stay, I feel like putting it in the top 3
