"La Malandrina" in L'Aquila is a culinary experience that deserves all the praise! From the first moment you are won over by the modern decor with retro touches, a unique environment where a magnificent red Moto Guzzi from the 50s/60s stands out, a true museum piece that adds an unmistakable character to the place. The appetizer was a true triumph of flavors: a platter of local cured meats and cheeses accompanied by a "screaming" Berkel-cut Parma ham, a start that promised well and kept all expectations. The first courses proved to be up to par: the Spaghettoni with garlic, oil, chili pepper with a seafood flavor were cooked to perfection, with the right balance of flavors. But the real surprise was the Tortelli with ricotta, lemon, basil and Reggiano foam, a combination of delicacy and freshness that enchanted the palate. To conclude in style, the desserts were the icing on the cake. The Yin Yang and the Banoffee are exceptional desserts, which ended a memorable lunch on a sweet note. Finally, the cellar is excellent, with a selection of wines that pair perfectly with the menu proposals, demonstrating great attention and care in the choice. "La Malandrina" is undoubtedly a restaurant to try and try again!

We received a warm welcome, even though the restaurant wasn't even open yet. The quality of the food was outstanding, and the competent and friendly service deserves special mention. An absolutely fantastic evening!

Locale incantevole, molto particolare nell’ arredamento di un ex cinema, ci sono moto d’epoca, affettatrici, bilance, e articoli vintage ben mantenuti. Il cuore è la proprietaria Cecilia che si avvale di un ottimo staff (Caterina ad esempio) sia in sala che in cucina e per la pasticceria. Manu del territorio rivisitato in maniera equilibrata e ricco di sperimentazioni, tutte eccellenti.

Tuvimos una excelente experiencia gastronómica en La Malandrina esta noche! La comida era excelente, incluyendo el calamaro, las pastas, (especialmente el tortello) , los guanciali en vino tinto, y el pastel de queso increíblemente ligero y perfectamente decorado con salsa de frambuesa. Lo mejor de todo es que el equipo fue de GRAN ayuda con mi alergia a los frutos secos. Realmente me hicieron sentir seguro y bienvenido como si fuera un viejo amigo de visita en su casa! Estaban preocupados por si podría haber alguna contaminación cruzada en la pasta, así que el chef me hizo un plato especial de espaguetis con aceite de oliva y verduras frescas. La tarta de queso también estaba fuera - menú y oh tan delicioso! Ojalá estuviéramos aquí por más tiempo, ya que sin duda volveríamos! Recomiendo encarecidamente!
