Honestly, this was exactly what we were looking for in Rome. A home-style restaurant, a classic family eatery, serving quality homemade food.
We ordered a diavola pizza and spaghetti bolognese, and I've never had anything better. For dessert, we had a "chocolate cake," as they called it, which is like a chocolate fondant, but much, much better.
In short, a must-visit if you go to Rome, 100% recommended.

Absolutely delicious and classic Italian cuisine. If you are a tourist and want to avoid the fake food traps, this is definitely the spot for you. Traditional food by local chefs. The atmosphere is quaint and homely. The lunch time service is quiet and you can have the whole restaurant to yourselves. Highly recommend. The fettuccine Al Cadiccheo was fabulous 🤌

Great experience! A hidden gem that was authentic and away from the main bustle of touristy areas. If you’re reading this, take it as a sign to go in, relax for a bit, and enjoy a mom-and-pop type of experience! Also next to an Irish pub if you wanted a drink after

Please don’t be misled by some of the very low reviews for this family run establishment. We stopped here for dinner and shared the bruschetta and cacio e pepe for an easy meal. Everything was delicious. The proprietors clearly care about their business and were attentive.
The location is off a main street, tucked away. It was very quiet, easy to talk and relax. The building is historical and the gentleman owner will excitedly share the history with you if you ask. The menu is handwritten, which has such a charm and love to it.

Tras un viaje en el día a visitar Asís, de vuelta al hotel cerca de Navona y habiendo salido del Metro de Plaza de España, buscábamos un lugar para cenar, no era muy pronto, sobre todo para Roma, con lo cual sabíamos que era complicado. Pero nos encontramos este lugar, muy auténtico, de hecho, los baños necesitan una reforma desde hace años. Sin embargo, aunque estaba vacío, nos atendieron y prepararon una cena. La comida bastante buena y el ambiente muy tranquilo (Estábamos solos). Muy agradecidos que nos sirvieran la cena y un buen lugar para comer o cenar auténtico.
