Hidden gem alert! 🚨 This small, family-owned place (for many generations!) serves the MOST AMAZING Pizza Margherita. Simple, authentic, and high-quality ingredients. The service is great; warm and attentive. I cannot thank them enough for such a great dinner!

Excellent rigatoni carbonara, creamy and well-balanced in flavor. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. A truly positive experience, I'll gladly return.

While strolling through the alleys of Rome, we decided to stop at this osteria. The place is small, with just a few tables, but we were able to find a seat right away. The atmosphere reflects the typical osteria style, but the complete absence of music made the place rather quiet: with the tables so close together, it was inevitable that we could hear the conversations of the other diners, forcing us to speak in hushed tones. The service didn't convince us: the lady who served us was rather brusque and always seemed in a hurry, without much attention to the customer. The food overall was average, nothing memorable, with flavors that were more reminiscent of home cooking than a restaurant. I was particularly disappointed with the carbonara, which didn't meet expectations. The bill seemed a bit expensive for the quality of the dishes offered. Another negative was the bathroom, where the toilet didn't flush. Overall, the experience was below expectations.

The best pasta i have ever had! The staff is so nice and the owner is amazing. It was the best memory for my last day in Rome. 100% recommended. Not crowded area so you can enjoy your meal but the food is sooo delicious! Happy to find this place

Best food we ate at Rome!!!!! We were somehow attracted to this small place in the heart of Rome. Every detail was so Italian: from the handwritten and painted menus to the owners cooking and serving us. Very cosy environment and very well decorated (like an old farm house). The food was delicious (we have been 6 days at Rome and were somewhat disappointed with the food since we are fresh pasta and pizza lovers and have already tasted great Italian food made by local friends, but we couldn’t find a great local restaurant. At last we ate in Osteria la Lupa. Thank you for the amazing amatriciana, pinza, hoven cooked melanzane and for the best gnocchi I ever tried. The rosso wine from the house was also incredible! Definitely will come back next time!

The real atmosphere of old Roman traditional cuisine. The owners are so nice that you are feeling like at Italian family dinner :)
