We ate pasta. The food was good but the service was very slow. It took more than 45 minutes to bring us the dish when the restaurant was not full.

One of the best restaurants in all of Rome! The location is beautifully hidden in a small street in the heart of the historic center of Rome. We were met by the sweetest older couple, and they took such good care of all their guests. We had bruschetta, pasta and pinsa, and it was all divine! The garlic pasta was absolutely amazing, and we talked about it for days afterwards!
After leaving I realized I had forgotten my gold ring by the sink in the bathroom. The lovely couple found it and kept it safe for me until I could come back the next day! Whether it was luck or fate (or both), this restaurant will always have a special place in my heart!

If you are looking for an authentic Italian meal, this is the place. This family owned jewel may look tiny, but there is nothing but love (and maybe some butter and cheese) being cooked up here. This hand-written menu and tiny seating area off the beaten path has the charm you are looking for. We recommend the Saltimboca (so good, we had to order a second). Overall, the 3.0 reviews are bunk.

I noticed this spot walking by it and immediately thought it could be a great place to have lunch. It looked typically Italian and I was not wrong. We had a delicious meal, freshly made after our order and the owners are very warm Italian people. Highly recommended.
