The atmosphere was spacious and well-kept, and the staff were friendly. The table was for ten people. The pizzas were thin but undercooked (not raw, but white on the bottom). The dough was bland and the tomato sauce was lacking (above all). Neither praise nor blame.

I managed to eat there a couple of times purely by chance. The place, although not crowded and with plenty of free tables, doesn't accept non-reservations. It seems like they're focused on regular locals and don't want casual diners. The food is good and authentic, but the management is terrible. Look for other places in the area and don't bother the ladies who run the place. You'll save them a lot of stress and you won't be disappointed if they refuse.

The first time I ate at La Lumira I was 18, now I'm 51 and the quality of the food and the service are always excellent. The traditional dishes are good and the pizza is always superb. You can't go wrong, La Lumira is a guarantee of quality.

I'm updating my review from 4 years ago.
For me, this is the best pizza in the area. I'm telling you this to anyone who loves thin pizza, ask for it—it's a blast! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Besides the excellent pizzas, there's a huge variety of first and second courses, all excellent. You can bring your dog; just let them know and they'll have no problem. I have to say that this dog thing is an added bonus for me, regardless of the fact that I have a dog, but it helps to show that the staff is experienced, helpful, and knows how to behave without unnecessary hysteria. In fact, they occasionally stop by to pet the animals. A big yes from me!
