La Lumaca a small house located in a strategic position, a crossroads and she is at the center. Pleasant in every season, magical the small veranda with wood stove or the outdoor garden wherever you "place" you will be welcomed by Giovanni or his girls with extreme courtesy. Legendary his cutting board of cold cuts and cheeses but not only. Summer concerts or even night walks (for those who are able) always well organized! In short a stop is worth it, definitely!

Nice and informal place for a snack in the shade. (Mainly outdoor seating). Recommended in summer. Reasonable prices.

An aperitif with a quality cutting board

Lovely little place for a very pleasant stop! We chose the platters with cold cuts, cheeses and savory pies, all excellent! The desserts were also good: we tried two different cakes (lemon curd, jam and amaretti) and the fiordilatte ice cream (affogato al caffè and affogato al bargnolino). Welcoming and well-organized staff. Well done!!

Departing from Lumaca di Prato Barbieri for an excursion to Monte La Penna, we stopped both on the way out and on the way back for breakfast and to drink hot tea. Excellent welcome and kindness from the owner who provided us with useful advice and offered us a brioche on our return. We will definitely be back to try the cuisine and one of the many events they organise.
