Four days ago we found ourselves at the Locanda by chance! Yesterday after a beautiful ride, we returned to taste the dishes again and to let ourselves be spoiled by the innkeeper. * A real surprise for our palates. Very rich and delicious starter, superb first courses. We saw the latter pass by the other guests, unfortunately the two of us cyclists with full bellies had nothing left to do but drool. Thanks again for the unforgettable extras offered.

A lovely roadside place. The menu of the day was huge. Seasonal food is prepared really well. An antipasto consisting of five plates,excellent wild mushrooms, greens, hot vegetable medley, potatoes with oil and thyme and cured meat and cheese. A meal in itself. This was followed by home made tagliatelle with freshly forage porcini, again huge. The main was lovely grilled pork chops, fresh tomatoes and fried potatoes. We finished with a coffee. All for 30 Euro a head.

We were at the restaurant over the Easter holiday (April/2024). It was already late when we called to ask what time they were open and the cordiality and kindness began on the phone, when they answered “until the last customer” 🙃. We decided to go promptly and were VERY WELL RECEIVED by the employee Luca! The food was very tasty, extremely plentiful and the price was more than fair. We opted for the tourist menu where you pay a single price and “try” everything (we committed the sin of gluttony because there is a lot of food). A wonderful experience in the mountains, abundant and quality homemade cuisine, unforgettable for a Brazilian family :) We will definitely be back soon! THANKS! Success.

So I'm giving 5 stars because: the food was delicious and plentiful, we were 3 people and we started with an appetizer, consisting of: normal mushrooms, raw mushrooms, salami and cheese, fried vegetables, bean curd, fried potatoes, turnip greens and sausage, cheese and pepper, and boiled potatoes. Then as a first course: a spelung of tagliatelle and porcini mushrooms (that's exactly what we went for) and as a second course a grilled meat, which we didn't finish, which they kindly let us take home. At the end of lunch they offered us, for dessert, a coconut cheesecake (really good), grappa and coffee. The service: it was excellent, friendly and nice, always with a quick joke, very kind and helpful. Waiting time between one course and another: maximum 5 minutes. The place: nice and welcoming (had there been snow it would have been top of the range) nice large room, I repeat there were 3 of us plus my son's pram, which maneuvered around the place comfortably. The owner: he made sure several times that we didn't miss anything, with all the availability in the world. Furthermore, they also offer rooms upstairs, for those who want to stay longer. 5 stars deserved. ⭐️
