La Locanda di Tizia e Caio In Roma

In occasione della seconda partita italiana degli europei sono andata a cena in questo locale con alcuni amici/colleghi. Il locale è molto carino, abbiamo mangiato bene, il personale è stato cordiale e anche il conto era in giusto rapporto qualità/prezzo. Però ho dovuto dare un tre alla recensione poiché, nonostante mi avessero garantito che il locale avesse l'aria condizionata, i gestori hanno deciso di lasciarla spenta perché avendo il servizio ai tavoli anche fuori e quindi lasciavano la porta del locale aperta per facilitare i passaggi. È stata una delle serate più calde finora e siamo stati davvero a disagio. Abbiamo anche provato a chiedere cortesemente di poterla accendere ma per due volte c'è stato negato, anche durante la seconda volta, verso la fine della serata, quando c'erano meno cose da fare. Sinceramente non capisco la scelta del gestore. Sicuramente non tornerò almeno per l'estate! Spero di essere stata utile

The most tasty restaurant we have been in Rome. The sauces are delicious, dipping the bread in them was the best thing we had in years. Waiters are young and friendly! A must visit for anyone in Rome! Many thanks, me my wife and our little daughter recommend this place 10/10

The style is obviously that of an inn, but with prices that need to be revised slightly, because they are a little above average compared to the usual inns. Good quality food. Young and polite staff.

Very good experience in Rome. Ok prices, delicious pasta and very good service!!! We ate two dishes + a breaded cheese, which were divine! The place is very pleasant, cozy and simple! Excellent value for money!

What we like about Tizia and Caio are the smiling faces and the Roman cuisine that comes to life here, traditional and high quality, in a simple context and at affordable prices. It was a great discovery, we go back whenever we can.

There are 6 of us going to dinner. Greeted a little distant first by a boy then by a gentleman then another boy arrived to take the order. We asked for wine together with still and sparkling water which arrived in installments. Without bread at the table you couldn't make the slipper. I had tripe and a Danish steak with grilled vegetables. The vegetables arrive first, then the tripe immediately after the meat which was overcooked. The service was a little confusing and at times present. I recommend the first ones which, according to my husband, are good; he took the gricia. Honestly I wouldn't go back but as I'm made they deserve a second chance. I would take other dishes.

Cozy place with a typical location of old Roman taverns. It is no coincidence that you can taste dishes mainly of Roman cuisine. The food is fresh, well prepared and plated. The staff is friendly and courteous and immediately puts the customer at ease. I've known him for years and he never disappoints me!
