A trattoria-restaurant in the historic center of Carnaiola di Fabro. It's located in a medieval building, but it's very well-maintained. They serve all the traditional Umbrian dishes, prepared with care. The staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are a little higher than average, but the ingredients are top-quality. I highly recommend it.

Typical Tuscan-Umbrian menu.
The daily specials are very interesting.
Gnocchi alla norcina, a dish that left me speechless.
If you're in the area, I recommend a visit.

Excellent restaurant. Very hot day but the environment was cool and welcoming. Authentic and good cuisine, right portions and pleasant service. Exceptional desserts. Very kind staff and especially the chef Giuliano with whom we had the pleasure of talking at the end of the service. I highly recommend.

Location nothing short of amazing, original stone vaults inside the place, the girl who served the tables was uniquely exquisite, excellent food. Not to mention the value for money.
Same thing for the wine list.
I absolutely recommend it!
We will return in the summer with an outdoor patio as promised!!

An inn under a castle, the waitress was very kind and gave me water for my dog, and the cook cooked me a slice of chicken for my old dog, very tasty so much so that I ate it quickly. Thank you

Ottimo pranzo: tagliatelle al ragù di Chianina ottime, così come il Po letto del giorno, le patate al forno e la cicoria.
Ottimo il vino della casa, personale cortese e rapido.

Appena usciti al casello di Fabro, siamo stati consigliati da una persona che lo pubblicizzava dicendo che avevano tutte le carni...davanti un altro noto ristorante di zona, ma pieno....
Il posto è grazioso.siamo tati serviti molto presto: due tagliatelle ai
porcini,un piatto di pici al tartufo. 1/4 di vino della casa ed un L di acqua del rubinetto. ..I primi,pappardelle e pici fatti in casa sicuramente, buoni ma 20€ per piatto...! Amaramente aggiunti al servizio di 2,50 a persona con il pane richiesto da noi perché non portato e tovagliette di ecopelle non proprio igieniche (per me)e 3€ per l'acqua.
