The room is very beautiful and welcoming but, with the room almost full, the restaurant goes haywire. Slightly poor wine and uncoordinated service. Even the opinion on the cuisine is not homogeneous.

Casualmente per l’ora di pranzo , girando in macchina, ho visto questa strada in salita con le info di questa Locanda e ho provato. Interno del ristorante è molto bello, con le arcate di un antico palazzo. Ho preso pecorino fuso con miele e noci , molto buono. Poi ho preso una classica tagliata e devo dire che la carne era buonissima. Prezzo giusto e personale molto gentile Una piacevolissima sorpresa e sicuramente ritornerò

They gave us the flyer outside the highway and since there was no place anywhere that we already knew, we gave it a try. The place deserved a nice place, a very nice environment, the girl who welcomed us was very kind and attentive. The food arrived but we were not satisfied! Measly portions, the handmade pasta was good, ok but nice double eh, it wasn't creamy, juicy, in short, a bit of a dry mess. For the second course we took the meat, in itself the quality of the raw material was good but we had also asked for the truffle which we were told was fresh. It was beautiful full of truffles but unfortunately it had neither scent nor flavour, basically the raw materials are good but whoever is in charge of the preparations should improve a lot, I hope it happens because I repeat the place is dreamlike

Ci sono tornato a distanza di 7 anni perché ne ero rimasto entusiasta invece questa volta ho trovato il cibo non male ma non così esaltante, soprattutto in rapporto a quanto speso e anche in rapporto ad altri ristoranti delle zone.

Restaurant at the foot of an ancient medieval castle. Inside there are characteristic pressed brick vaults. Friendly and open-minded staff. Typical foods and dishes of Tuscan cuisine. The classic Florentine steak is excellent but the first courses with truffles or tagliatelle with ragù are also good. Gourmets should definitely try these delights of the palate.

Very nice environment but food nothing exceptional such as taste and exaggerated price especially for bottles of water
