Avevo da recuperare una cena con dei carissimi amici… Quale location migliore per fermarsi a chiacchierare e degustare le nostre pietanze preferite!? Il Signor Franco, ormai, ci tratta come nipoti, riserva sempre attenzioni in più. Ieri sera ci andava un po’ di pizza che il caro Enzo prepara sempre con gran maestrìa! Antipasti di terra giusto per incominciare e la serata é trascorsa piacevolmente…

My wife and I visited this beautiful, welcoming and familiar restaurant for the first time. We took the seafood appetizer as a first course, grilled fish as a second course and dessert to finish. We found everything delicious and plentiful. The owner Franco is an exquisite person and his collaborators are very kind. We will be back soon.

We had dinner in this particular and carefully finished restaurant, created in a more modern structure compared to the environment. Very talkative owner and in some ways a little too confidential, nothing to complain about the service and clean environment. We took an appetizer (of the house), a first course with seafood (which I wasn't enthusiastic about) and for the second course, given the first experience, we chose meat and here too I wasn't enthusiastic. we tasted the pizza which I have nothing to complain about because it wasn't bad at all. We're around €50/person on average. Worth going back because it's not bad and can improve.

Ci sono stato per la prima volta e a dirvi la verità non sapevo che c'era un bell ristorante una bella location e ampio spazio all aperto x l estate .. Devo dire che l'antipasto buonissimo ho preso il primo piatto paccheri con rana pescatrice buono secondo grigliata di pesce spada e seppia ottimi.. dolci altrettanto. Personale gentilissimo servizio ottimo e il proprietario una persona squisita... Prezzo nella norma ... Tornerò sicuramente perché devo provare la pizza

After years of frequenting him he always manages to make us eat at the top. Very fresh fish and amazing first courses. The friendliness of the staff and the great experience and professionalism of the owner make it clear how much work goes into it.

19/05/2025: We dined here just after visiting the caves, this place is awsome. Breathtaking view, fair prices and big, tasty portions, we left this place full and smiling. Recommended.
11/05/2025: I miei genitori erano stati in questo posto scoperto un po' per caso un po' di tempo fa, me ne avevano parlato molto, molto bene e così oggi abbiamo deciso di andarci. La distanza non è poca, ma ne è valsa assolutamente la pena, non solo perché Castelcivita è un posto davvero delizioso, ma perché nella trattoria 'il portello' si mangia davvero benissimo. Abbiamo ordinato 3 antipasti 'il portello' che erano molto abbondanti e veramente eccezionali, i prodotti sono di altissima qualità. Raffaele, con il quale abbiamo scambiato qualche chiacchiera sembra davvero una persona squisita, seleziona i prodotti che serve con molta cura e tutto nel giro di pochissimi km. Anche i ravioli erano buonissimi e fatti in casa. La ragazza che ci ha servito al tavolo è stata super carina ed educata. Il posto è tranquillo e gode di una vista veramente bella. Rapporto qualità/quantità/prezzo veramente ottimo! Ci ritorneremo sicuramente
