Sul lungomare Torre canne-Savelletri in quello che era un “postaccio” dove mangiare solo i ricci, ma ne continua a conservare il nome, si erge la Locanda del riccio. Una struttura che ha saputo adeguarsi al tempo offrendo un location in sintonia con l’ambiente circostante e una cucina gustosa. Gli ambienti totalmente vetrati permettono di godere della luce solare e della bellezza del mare anche nei mesi invernali. Il mise en place è minimal al quale si contrappone un menù strutturato in formato digital. I piatti risultano particolarmente gustosi. Assolutamente da provare i tagliolini alla polpa di riccio. I secondi di arrosto non eccelsi, ma decisamente meglio della frittura un po’ unta. Occhio ai vini che tendono a far lievitare, e non di poco, il conto. A netto di una riprova in una giornata meno caotica quale quella del 1 novembre, che sconta un nutrito numero di commensali, allo stato dei fatti non può attribuirsi la quinta stella.

On the Torre Canne-Savelletri seafront, in what was a "bad place" where only sea urchins were eaten, but continues to retain its name, stands the Locanda del Riccio. A structure that has been able to adapt to the times by offering a location in harmony with the surrounding environment and tasty cuisine. The fully glazed rooms allow you to enjoy the sunlight and the beauty of the sea even in the winter months. The mise en place is minimal which is contrasted with a menu structured in digital format. The dishes are particularly tasty. The tagliolini with sea urchin pulp is absolutely worth trying. The roast second courses are not excellent, but definitely better than the slightly greasy frying. Watch out for wines that tend to increase the bill, quite a bit. Net of a try again on a less chaotic day such as November 1st which includes a large number of diners, as things stand, it cannot be awarded a fifth star.

Excellent place, very helpful staff, top notch lunch

Location located in Savelletri on the coast road, there were 6 of us, we arrived at 1.30pm and they made us sit right away, despite the public holiday being November 2nd. We ordered 4 house appetizers and 3 tastings of raw seafood, and the sea urchins, super full and delicious. As a first course we ordered 4 cavatelli with seafood and 2 super excellent spaghetti with mussels. For the second course we had a 1 and a half kilo snapper in salt (excellent cooking of the fish), as dessert 4 tiramisu and 2 panna cottas made by the chef, like the bread and focaccia. What can I say, we will be happy to return. Very kind staff and super good owners for every need.

Nothing exceptional very expensive

Everything excellent. A beautiful place, excellent service, quality raw materials and finally well cooked. The first courses were tasty and the pasta al dente, the prawns were delicious and extra large. Really everything perfect.

Poorly maintained environment, not to mention the bathroom without toilet paper or towel paper......paid a lot for having eaten little.
