Pleasant discovery here in L'Aquila, located in a peripheral area. A place that fully reflects the setting of the Lord of the Rings, inside it is possible to admire beautiful representations of the main characters of the novel.
Very kind and qualified staff, menu very focused on the main dish, the roast which I admit is EXCELLENT. The only flaw is the very high prices in my opinion, it's true that the quality pays off but you shouldn't go broke.

My dining experience at The Prancing Foal Inn was truly exceptional. From the moment we entered, the welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff made us feel at home.

Delusione rispetto alle aspettative
I ragazzi sono gentili e simpatici il locale carino a tema signori degli anelli ma le aspettative su arrosticini erano alte viste le recensioni.
Arrosticini(1,10 € l'uno) come tutto il resto, l'hamburger,il tagliere, sono stati nella media,niente di eccezionale.
Rapporto qualità prezzo non ne va le la pena abbiamo speso 32 euro a persona (1 tagliere 10 arrosticini 1. Hamburger 2 acque).

Nice, clean, welcoming place with efficient staff. The platter is spectacular and absolutely worth trying. I tasted the roasts, the classic ones and the hand-made ones, the hand-made ones are definitely better!!!!

Dall'esterno si prova un senso di approssimazione ma appena entrati la gentilezza e il garbo del personale e in evidenza del addetto più maturo mettono subito le cose in chiaro.Il servizio veloce e capace serve prodotti eccezionali per cottura e qualità (tra tutti degli arrosticini fegato e cipolla da primo premio) altri di angus meravigliosi e per finire dei digestivi artigianali degni di nota. Completa il tutto come anticipato la gentilezza del titolare affabile e generoso

Suggestive atmosphere that combines the County with Abruzzo. Really truly original.
Really nice and friendly staff. Servizio velocissimo.
Very good food, especially the bruschetta which, trust me, despite the cost they are worth a lot, and the dimensions are VERY generous. In fact, be careful when you take them, otherwise you will fill up immediately.
Exceptional quality roasts, salted just right and tender, they melt in your mouth!
I prezzi sono un po' altini... Ma dai posso pure farglielo passare quel poco di sovrapprezzo vista l'esperienza in toto.
I would stay here again.
