Filippo has surrounded himself with excellent collaborators who make the most of the efforts made by the kitchen to prepare quality dishes with excellent raw materials. Life hits hard and when it does you always look for a safe place, which could be your mother, a partner etc.. for me it's the Locanda Del Poeta! A sweet cake in the Turanese area that relieves my bad mood, and the icing on the cake is the owner Filippo and his employees. Kindness and professionalism are accompanied by that pampering and dedication to the customer that totally makes the difference. Fairytale entrance accompanied by a pond surrounded by greenery and trees always in the utmost care. Explosions of flavors from appetizers to desserts with 0 km products and a large and varied wine cellar. Handkerchief with first salt and sweetbreads are my favorite dishes, but even the first courses are extraordinary, not to mention the cheek which is like butter, and takes your taste buds on a journey of a completely different level. If you are visiting Rieti or Lake Turano, the stop is a must. A 2.5 hour journey from my home, done with extreme pleasure, I can say hands down that it has been my favorite restaurant for years.

I ate very well and the waiters were not intrusive, but attentive and attentive. Unfortunately I discovered this restaurant while attending a murder mystery dinner, and this spoiled my experience. The show was vulgar, ugly and poorly acted, never been to such an embarrassing show. I recently visited with my husband and I can't wait to go back on Sunday with my sons and daughters-in-law. The staff were very kind and welcoming even though they were full given the beautiful day. The quality of the food is exceptional and the environment is very pleasant in which, among other things, dogs are welcome. The outside environment is also pleasant. As dishes we chose dumplings with fondue, pork fillet, sliced ​​beef, cabbage, cauliflower and glass of wine, including service and water we spent €35 each and I reiterate the high quality of the food. Questa recensione va oltre la condivisione di un ottimo pranzo, con piatti ben cucinati e servizio veloce e cortese. Questa volta voglio sottolineare un comportamento che di questi tempi sembra quasi anacronistico. Ebben si, esistono ancora dei valori. Mi riferisco all'onesta e alla correttezza dei proprietari che, dopo aver rilevato un errore nel conto (avevano considerato 4 gnocchetti al tartufo bianco invece che nero) in serata mi hanno chiamato per scusarsi e il primo giorno lavorativo utile hanno fatto un bonifico per la differenza non dovuta. Non è l'importo ma il gesto che conta. Credo tutto ciò valga molto di più di una semplice recensione sul cibo. Grazie per avermi dato l'opportunità di parlarne oltre che a condividerlo con i miei figli.

Locanda immersa nel verde sulla Turanense a pochi km dal Lago del Turano. Ho trovato un posto meraviglioso sotto tutti i punti di vista. Cibo ottimo, servizio e accoglienza cortese e professionale. L'ho visitato a Novembre ma non vedo l'ora che arrivi la bella stagione...
