Dinner with some colleagues. We ordered 3 kg of straccetti (regular and spicy) and then a huge array of bombette (regular, spicy, provola and radicchio, with sun-dried tomatoes). Everything was served in record time, accompanied by the house wine (a lovely still wine). The service and quality of the meat were excellent. A valid option in the university area of Lecce.

Everytime I go to Lecce I am really looking forward to go to this place. As a meatlover it's a dream - they have a very good selection of meats and sausages and you can choose any combinations or amount and they'll prepare it for you. I would also recommend trying some of the intestines like liver wrapped with bacon. The house wine is also great and so are the potatoes and fried vegetables!!
The only downside is that after 1 hour or so, if you don't order more food they will push you a bit so they can give your table to new guests. So don't expect to spend a long night here. However the food is so good and surpsingly cheap that I don't mind it thay much.

We stopped here for dinner and it was an excellent choice. The grill was impeccable, well-cooked and flavorful, and the appetizers, especially the potatoes, were really good too.
We were very satisfied: this place is definitely worth a visit.

After enjoying amazing seafood and pasta every day in Puglia, the meat we had here was fantastic! The price-to-quality ratio was excellent, and you could choose your own cuts, which were served quickly. The potatoes were delicious. Most of the guests were locals, so it felt like a genuine experience away from tourist traps. We had a reservation and, as a party of two, were seated at a table in the middle of the outdoor area, while the other parties of two who reserved at the same time were at four-person tables by the wall. One downside was that people constantly passing by and waiting nearby made our table feel a bit exposed, which wasn’t ideal. Despite that, the lively street atmosphere and the delicious food made it a truly memorable experience.

Abbiamo assaggiato gli straccetti, sia nella versione dolce che in quella piccante, oltre a una varietà di bombette disponibili.
Tutto era davvero molto buono e il prezzo è stato decisamente conveniente!
