If you are thinking of going to see Lake Como. This is the place. One of the best things we have been able to enjoy on our trip through Italy. Spacious, clean, well decorated room. First class food. Friendly staff at all times.

We chose this hotel spontaneously due to its high rating online, and it certainly lived up to it! The staff was incredibly helpful, and the rooms were carefully decorated and spotless. Our child loved the heated pool – it was small but clean and perfect for a relaxing swim with a stunning view of Lake Como. Breakfast was beautifully served at the hotel’s restaurant, adding a special touch to our mornings. The staff mentioned a spa is currently being developed, which sounds like a fantastic addition. We absolutely enjoyed our stay as a family and look forward to returning in the future!

Absolutely outstanding. The room was the best of the eight hotels we stayed in during our trip. The view was fantastic and the breakfast was a big plus. The parking was free but not ideal because restaurant guests took all of the spots. The hotel did make room for us eventually.

Both the hotel and the restaurant were absolutely fantastic. Service was excellent and the food at the restaurant was very good, particularly for dinner. Would absolutely recommend La Locanda del Cantiere and would gladly come back again!

I had a wonderful one-night stay at La Locanda del Cantiere. The room was spacious, clean, and offered a beautiful view of the lake. The staff provided excellent service, making the experience truly memorable. The food at the restaurant was fantastic, with delicious Italian dishes made from fresh ingredients. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Scegliamo questo posto per una gita fuori porta con amici. L'atmosfera è carina, c'e' parcheggio interno che non è per niente male per un posto come Laglio ed il lago subito di fronte da' una bella vista a tutto il pranzo. Ogni piatto sul menu' costa minimo 20 euro, dagli antipasti ai secondi; saranno buoni, si spera. Ordiniamo del risotto al pesce persico ed antipasti di pesce, e devo dire che gli antipasti sono in effetti molto piacevoli, composti da carpacci saporiti e le classiche alborelle in carpione. Ma quando tocca al risotto, che delusione. Salatissimo, con troppo burro e troppo formaggio; di pesce ve n'e' una generosa quantita' appoggiata sopra, ma nel riso non sembra esser filtrato nulla dell'aroma, coperto da una mantecazione completamente sbagliata... che se facesse mia madre ci passerei sopra ma un ristorante da 20 euro? Scherziamo? I dolci mostrano prezzi, se ricordo, tra gli 8 e i 9 euro, che è completa follia. Mi dispiace, ma la location (che è comunque molto normale sul lago di Como) non è sufficiente per giustificare questo genere di spese. Dubito vi tornero'.
